AURORA: I think they're both being morons. The only way they are going to improve their communication is if they realize that the benefits of being civil to one another outweigh the risks. Of course, at age 11, this is a bit tricky. With school, peer pressure, and parents, it's easy to have your judgment clouded.

If they survive this whole experience, I'm sure it will put things into perspective.

Wow. VERY interesting Aurora. I guess the pressures of society are dangers to one's judgement. It can be so nervewracking you'd think it's safer in the wilderness.

What do YOU think about Jimmy and Cindy's relationship? How would you try to improve their communication? Is it possible that they can eventually grow out of their rivalry?

To Lee: Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I know this sounds a little too much like a work aptitude test, but I'm curious to see what you plan for the future.

LEE: Doing the same job I am now, I suppose. Perhaps I will take on some more responsibilities as well. I would like to have a family some day, but I will not hope for too much at the moment.

AURORA: Of course they've always gone back to their old ways before. They've never been offered irrefutable proof of the damage that their enmity can cause. Life and death situations are one thing. Seeing your future is another.

As for point 2, as much as I HIGHLY doubt that would happen, I wouldn't be particularly perturbed if it did. I remember what it was like to feel those things.
