Wow, nice Q's Sunny! **cracks knuckles**

___

Aurora: How did you feel when Future Carl let you out? And how did you escape? Did you have any idea that he was acting on Jimmy's orders, or did you think he was risking himself to help a past friend? If it's the second one, would you do anything to thank him when you see him next?

AURORA: What? He was acting under Dictator Jimmy's orders? I don't believe you. He seemed terrified when he let me out of that cell.

And you should know better than to ask me questions like that. I don't want to talk about it. But if you MUST know, I made my way through his base, taking down whatever security got in my way, until I got to a room in Sector 1 with escape pods...there was a self-destruct module there too, but I couldn't figure out how to use it.

Anyway, I wouldn't know what to say to Carl if I saw him. "Sucks to be us" maybe? Or "why the heck are you still sitting around helping him you spineless coward"? But that's unfair, I suppose. I mean, Neutron isn't the easiest person to get away from. Just look at me. I've spent my whole life chasing him.

___

F. Libby: Does it scare you that your best friend is the only one alive to have ever made it out of DJ's ship?

FUTURE LIBBY: Not in the slightest. It's not surprising, really. I mean, I know Jimmy's evil an' everythin', but I think the same fundamental rules still govern their relationship, if ya know what I'm sayin'. Cindy WAS always an expert at gettin' under his skin. What I mean to say is, if anyone could escape from him, Aurora could.
____

F. Libby and/or anyone else that wants to answer (this one is an edit from a minute later, I just thought of it randomly): What did you think when Cindy started going by her middle name? What do you think of going by YOUR middle name, just to save Mara some trouble? And do you think that facing DJ in the ultimate battle as Danielle would take some of the fear-mystique thing away from your side? '

MARA: Cause using the name Aurora isn't a total plot contrivance or anything... o:)

FUTURE LIBBY: Um...I never really thought about it? Sometimes I like to call myself "Liberty" though. Except then I think of that giant statue with the torch and I just can't take myself seriously.

___

April: Have you ever thought, like Lady Jaya did, even for a second, that Aurora was acting as DJ's spy after she was released?

APRIL: Not even for a second. I've known Aurora much longer than Lady Jaya, and I'm also not prejudiced against humans. Aurora's a survivor, not a spy.

____

DJ: Do you really have a long-term strategy or are you just making it up as you go along?

DICTATOR JIMMY: It's a little bit of both, I suppose. Strategies are important, but circumstances change rapidly and you need to be able to adapt. The key, then, is to have adaptable plans. That way, whatever happens, you're always two steps ahead.

Oooh, thanks Mara! Those were incredibly interesting to read. And LOL about the "Cause using the name Aurora isn't a total plot contrivance or anything..." ohwait I don't get it. I think you mean her name is just Aurora so you don't have to type out "F. Cindy" all the time... not sure though. XD

Haha, I'm so quoting that thing about Libby in my sig.

OK andrea, here we go...
____

Jimmy: now, seriusly ( :P ) leaving behind all the genocide and everything, haven't you at any time thought that it would be cool to have control over most of the universe and wished to be your future self?

JIMMY: Well, to be honest, I suppose I HAVE thought what it would be like to rule the universe. Of course, I'd tell myself that I would be a just ruler who'd better the lives of everyone under my rule...but I know in my heart that absolute power corrupts absolutely. Nobody should be command those many people.
Now, I CAN see myself being president of NASA...I could certainly show those NEWBS I thing or two about space travel.

MARA: (raising an eyebrow) Newbs?

JIMMY: What?

MARA: Nothing...it's just that seeing you use internet slang is a bit weird.
___

Lady Jaya: I'm sorry to bother you, I'm sure you have plenty of things to do, but I was wondering why were you SO upset with Aurora's plan? with all due respect, I don't think that it was only for the reasons you presented there, what I want to say is why is it exactly that you "will not rest until you personally see to it that every last drop of blood is emptied from his veins"? some of the people in the council were really considering it! why were you so closed to that option? april said that she "believed that you have had it out for Aurora since the very beginning" why is that?

LADY JAYA: I will admit that I have never been fond of humans, but Aurora is especially troublesome...not to mention a bad influence on April. April could have made General by now with her natural talents, had she not been off spending all her time with Aurora and that upstart Numerian fiancee of hers. Now she uses human slang and chooses them above her own people.

Perhaps you feel that I am being harsh, but you need to remember that I am trying to keep everyone's best interests in mind, not just Aurora's.

Please, think about it for a moment. Aurora swore eternal vengeance on the Dictator and made it her life's mission to kill him. Then she was captured. Fine, it all makes sense up to this point. But then she escapes...without a scratch? And more importantly, without killing him? Why would the Dictator allow her to escape unless she could serve some ulterior purpose? Powerful dictators do not simply let their enemies walk free. There is always an ulterior motive.

Even up until this point there is some room for doubt. But then Aurora walks into a room full of all our allies and proposes a plan that would SPARE THE DICTATOR'S LIFE? It is so against Aurora's character and our principles as a people. The only explanation is that the Dictator is somehow using her.

I am not saying it is her fault, merely that listening to her would be dangerous.

but what if that ulterior motive is exactly what is happening, I mean loosing everyone's trust, and that way isolating her from everyone or making her lose credibility or what if he was testing her strenght or something idk! and How did you expect her to kill him, I mean been there enclosed for so much time is enough for trauming a person for a life time! and besides I don't remember who said it, but it would have been easir to give him the antidote and when he was his normal self again you could kill him! or do whatever you do to make justice, but it would have saved tons of lives!

That was sooo long I don't know how even Mara's gunna read through it all. XDD (This is coming from a girl who read over 2000 pages of Harry Potter--752 of them in 11 hours, 39 minutes. OhyeahI'mgood. XD)

HERE'S SOMETHING I ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW-- (at least since I read the chapter)

AURORA: If you knew perfectly well that Lady Jaya was going to reject your idea (wasn't that part of the plan anyway?), why didn't you just fill the vial with WATER?

It would have saved you a whole vial of antidote, and, more importantly, made sure everyone is prepared when they split into groups and sneak in the ship.

Pigquet - your replies make me giggle and bounce up and down in my swivel chair like an idiot.

I LOVE reading your responses to the Q & A.

Ya, I had my work cut out for me last night. All the sudden people posted like a TON of questions...it was wicked fun though. I LOVE doing this. Spur-of-the-moment characterization is what I live for.

Anyway, my dad and I are taking the canoe and goin' fishin'. Later!

AURORA: Hey, you know what? The next time YOU face an evil Dictator, meet up with his younger alternate self, concoct a crazy plan, and then present that plan to a room full of criminals, YOU can decide what to do.

I didn't KNOW Lady Jaya would reject the plan. I mean, I knew she'd badmouth me, because she always does, but somehow I kept hoping that the other people present would be a bit more...courageous? and back me up.

Cut me some slack, jeez. <_<

@AURORA-- The WHOLE REASON you were angry with Jimmy and sprayed the Megalomanium in his eyes in the first place was because you were jealous of Betty and wanted Jimmy's attention. Do you ever find it ironic that for the past ten years you've been pouring all your time and energy into assassinating DJ?

AURORA: DON'T remind me. Sometimes I think the universe runs on irony.
I was a dumb kid who didn't think about the consequences of her actions, plain and simple. I wish I could take it back, but I can't.
I guess the ultimate irony is that I'm STILL trying to get Neutron's attention, just in a different way.

@AURORA, THE KIDS, AND FUTURE LIBBY-- When you returned to Earth to discover that the monks of Shangri Llama had survived DJ's destruction, how did you feel? Did it hurt to learn they'd survived just by meditating while all your friends and family were wiped out?

JIMMY: Surprisingly...no. I was HAPPY that they survived, even if our families were deleted by the nanobots.

AURORA: I'm irritated that they've had it so easy, of course, but they DID take care of Libby, so...I'm glad she didn't have to deal with all the stuff I did. I wouldn't wish that on my best friend. She deserved to have a nice life.

FUTURE LIBBY: Aww, Aurora! **BFF SQUEE MOMENT**

Hurray, Mara went on a question-answering spree!!! XD

Aw, the S/L was so sweet! I guess it IS pretty obvious F. Libby has always believe F. Sheen is still alive. I mean, after fulfilling the monk's prophecy by landing in the field when she did and being told she was to marry "The Chosen One" all this time, she'd probably find herself believing what the monks said. Even if they did seem a little...bizarre... And of course she's always worn that ring. ^_^

Haha. Of course the universe runs on irony.

And after reading all those replies...YOU KNOW WHAT? I KINDA WANT TO SEE AURORA KICK SOME LADY JAYA-BUTT. XDDD

There's something I've been DYING to know forever!!

DJ, why did you kiss Aurora when you had her captured?

Oh boy, wasn't looking forward to this question.

I'm pretty sure the answer can't be "the author is a perverted teenage girl", and I'm pretty sure Gwen's "S&M!" rationale won't work, so...
Here we go.

___

DICTATOR JIMMY: Aurora challenged me...she said there was nothing I could do to make her suffer more than she already had.
Aurora seems to operate under the assumption that she's got me figured out, but she's wrong. I'm the one who has her figured out.

She's so easy to manipulate. And what better way to play on her emotions than with a kiss? What could be more confusing and more terrifying than letting your guard down with your worst enemy?

Although to be perfectly honest, I had to be careful. As I said...what could be more confusing and more terrifying than letting your guard down with your worst enemy? I relied on the assumption that she wouldn't kill me the second her hands came out of those cuffs. Taking risks like that can be dangerous.

He was clearly doing it to make her suffer, and it was right after that line he questioned her like "No?" and slowly did it, like he knew what he was doing, and that did her in. Its so sad :'(

Ya, he always knows what he's doing. He's one stone-cold, calculating S.O.B.
