I always wondered why she was that way, it's good to finally understand her a little more. *.*
I felt like this was a good charactor development episode, but it seemed like they were picking on poor Ty Lee... But, the goofy grin at the very end made me laugh so hard.

I also loved the Maiko development *.* I've always loved this paring, but now I love it more than ever. Imho, I think it showed just how great they are together :)
The only thing this epi lacked was more time with the gAang :(

I loved the Maiko! They're meant to be~
That's what really confused me. I expected a lot more of the gAang in this episode. The little they gave us was pretty good though.
"That was random."

Toph's line summed up the whole episode perfectly "That was random."

I seriously laughed out loud when Azula had her "power craze" moments.
Mai seemed kind of...really boring to me. So ya, she had a controlling mother. Zuko's right, she needs to show some kind of interest in something (although she sort of already has, by singling out Zuko). Not that he was acting particularly gentlemanlike...although I can understand his frustration...but he still seemed kind of like "angry possessive boyfriend" to me. Ty Lee was just mega sweet throughout.
Again, though, I feel like I learned a lot about Azula, since this was really the first time you got to see her with "normal" teenagers. I especially loved her comment "my own mother thought I was a monster"...which she promptly turned on its head, but still. I think a glimmer of real emotion showed through for a second. I definitely got the impression that although the fire nation kids have actually been through way less than many of the other characters (I mean, they're not even living in the wartorn areas here!) they are way more emo and melodramatic than anyone else. Maybe it's a fire nation thing.
Plotwise, this seemed to be a weird mix of a Degrassi-type teenage soap opera and several different types of anime (the metal assassin who blows up stuff with his mind especially). It was very, very odd. I'm still not entirely sure what to think.
~*Mara*~ = ^.^ =
P.S. Toph basically rocks (haha pun). They'd be dead 5 times over if it weren't for her. She is so underrated.

I'm not gunna lie: Zuko is reeeeeally starting to get on my nerves. He was being a total possessive jerk to Mai, even if she was being a unfeeling you-know-what too, imo has either got to get a hair cut or keep his flowing locks in a top knot, and needs to stop being such a drama queen. I know that it's realistic for him to be confused and angry, so I hope that the writer have him resolve his issues soon. But I loved the entire volleyball beach scene. Gah! THE DOVES!!! AND FANGIRLS!!! Even though Zuko looked scrawny compared to "Southern Air Temple." But I guess he needed a new emo bod to go with his new emo attitude ^_^ . k, i'm done ragging on Zuzu. Poor guy  ...
I missed the gaang in this episode, but the little they did have was AWESOME!!! You're very right super-bomb Toph, the lack of your presence was "random." On an equally random note, a new ship was born: Tyko, or maybe zulee (but that's pretty close to Azulee), a ZukoXTy Lee ship because of Ty Lee's "I'm freezing! " and "I know you..." comments. I was like "lolwtf?heyicandigit!" It probably won't come to anything, but in the meantime I'll enjoy it while I can. Arr, shipping be habit I just can't quit! :ahoy: . And Maiko... the weird thing is, when I first heard about it I actually thought that it would be a really good fit, but the way the creators are showing it seems... weird to me. Like the constant kissing but their having a very shallow connection (atleast that what it seems like the episodes so far have shown, imo). :ph43r: I dunno. If this is what their relationship would look like canon, I don't particularly like it, no offense to the Maiko shippers out there ^_^ . My absolute favorite part of the episode was Azula's boy-related stuff. Atleast she got some lovin' for once :bock: . Flameo, AZULA  Wooooo!
Whoa! I wrote alot! :music:

I love that this episode showed us that, while she is the biggest bia...in the Avatar world, she is still just a regular teen-age girl with teenager issues :)My absolute favorite part of the episode was Azula's boy-related stuff. Atleast she got some lovin' for once :bock: .

Has anyone else read the spoilers for the next few episodes? I don't want to give it away so I won't say anything, but let me just say in a few episodes a lot of people are going to get spazz attacks :kawaii:

It's a good thing that, when I first watched that episode, I already knew it was just a dream, otherwise I would have lost it :'(
