Why do all my RP characters have soooo much emotional baggage? I mean I love a conflicted vulnerable character as much as the next guy... but my current character really takes the cake. No matter what anyone in the party says they can't break through to her that she isn't an irredeemable monster like her society claims she is. I'm actually having to guard my own mental state to keep her gloom from bleeding over into my head.

Yah, I did tend to "god-mod" a little TOO much, so I'm really gonna put forth an effort to put an end to it, unless it's a no-holds-barred RP where literally anything goes! If that's not the kinda RP it is, then I'm gonna steer clear of THAT bad habit, or at least REALLY try to!!!

A good Game Master helps with the god mode issue alot, I mean it is kinda half the reason they are there. Mizer is phenomenal at it too, everytime I start getting comfortable or start thinking for even a moment that I hold the power he proves me wrong. Honestly I recommend anyone who has the time and can find a good group give table top RP games a try, they are so addicting and so fun.
