What my question is: What are they rioting for? Racial tensions? Economical dissatisfaction? Simple looting? Or all of those reasons?

It was a peaceful protest about a person who was shot dead by the police (he was a crime-lord and armed although he didn't fire and refused to leave the car he was in) which got outta hand. Then a huge bunch of thugs took advantage of the situation and started trashing their own city because that's how clever they are
