It's really weird when a fanfic about a character having the flu and being taken care of by others has almost 300 reviews, while another fanfic of similar length about extremely suspenseful crime-fighting has none.

I'm not trying to promote any of my fanfics (truth is I haven't written one since tenth grade), I'm just honestly surprised that of all the fanfic plots, a character having the flu is apparently the shit. Everyone's read that thing. And it's not like, he gets the flu but it turns out to be something much worse and life threatening. It's just a regular case of the flu. Nothing special whatsoever.
