Okay, so I just updated my mlp fanfic. Last update was 4 weeks ago. I was pretty proud that I managed to get a 5K chapter update written, polished, and posted, considering all the distractions I've had (sprained knee, holiday season, depressing long-term relationship ending, etc). First comment I get is a snarky reply that it's been so long since my last update, the person can't remember what even happened last and isn't going to bother reading my story for a few months. Thanks?
