My friend Haley and I are looking for a female Harry Potter fan to join our weekly HP RPG! It's conducted over Skype, using roll20 for the dice. It's pretty rules-light and the system is easy to learn, but it WILL be a time commitment. Game is held every Monday night from 8pm-midnight EST. The upside: you get to play a kid going to Hogwarts! Woo!

it's just a bit of acting, Katie. You do plays. You could totally manage it. I was a complete n00b when I started RPing over a year ago, and now I love it. Just sayin'

I agree with Mara, If you have the time and are interested give it a go. I started out playing nonsensical D&D sessions in a summer camp and now I am GMing 2 campaigns and playing in 3. It really just takes a little effort and it becomes second nature.

I also have to say that Mara's group meets at a pretty reasonable time, the last session I was GM for went from 11:30 AM to like midnight with about an hour of intermissions in there. They don't normally last that long for my group... but none of us wanted to quit since we were having an amazing time.
