My dad had the exact same thing happen. Turns out he bit his tongue in his sleep so often that it caused a weird lesion that resembled cancer. The mouth is an alien place - odds are, you'll be fine

That's so strange! Hope that's the case for me too. Not a needle person so the very thought of getting this procedure done has me shaking in my boots...
