Do you think that having Romance in Fanfics is the only way to actually get people to read it?

Nope. I think the key to gaining readers is good writing, plain and simple.

It is mostly because I have noticed on FF.net that regular action-y fanfictions get a nice amount of reviews. But then romantic ones get much more notice in reviews and faves/followers.
