Yes, shading can be done with simple pencils and looks lovely when you learn how to do it correctly. xD But I like your sketches, Em. ^^

Bah. Had to change my fanfic rating from K+ to T. Feel like it's necessary, now that there are some chapters involving war and some mildly horrific death. I can't in good conscience say it doesn't have "more mature themes" anymore.

It is! On a "horrific death" scale from mild to UTTERLY GRUESOME, it's definitely on the mild side! But I can't deny it's horrific. Death by scalding steam isn't pleasant, after all.

I know exactly how ya feel, Kate! I'm currently working on a collab with a DA user that has a "haunted house" theme to it. And sometimes, the best fic ideas I get happen when I'm asleep and dreaming, but I frustratingly can't remember most of them! Grrr...

It's the same way with drawing ideas for me; they'll pop up in a dream overnight, but I can't remember what it was the next day! Augh... But last night's was different, cuz I still remember what I dreamt of and plan on actually drawing it pretty soon!

Actually if you go to a 3-d movie and get popcorn it's pretty much exactly the same. :) And this season we are doing The Game's Afoot, a murder mystery comedy sorta thing, The King and I, and Pinocchio. There are a few others but I don't remember. :)
