Tonight my party mourns the death of a brave man. Martiliay of the fighter's guild. The party was attempting to stop a megalomaniac wizard. We had made it through all his traps and cornered him. But he opened a portal to the primal void and doomed us all. But even as we were dragged screaming towards the void, Martiliay simply stood up and dove into the void itself and managed to strike a fatal blow to the wizard’s blackened heart as he was standing on the divide. RIP Martiliay

Why do all my RP characters have soooo much emotional baggage? I mean I love a conflicted vulnerable character as much as the next guy... but my current character really takes the cake. No matter what anyone in the party says they can't break through to her that she isn't an irredeemable monster like her society claims she is. I'm actually having to guard my own mental state to keep her gloom from bleeding over into my head.

Yah, I did tend to "god-mod" a little TOO much, so I'm really gonna put forth an effort to put an end to it, unless it's a no-holds-barred RP where literally anything goes! If that's not the kinda RP it is, then I'm gonna steer clear of THAT bad habit, or at least REALLY try to!!!

A good Game Master helps with the god mode issue alot, I mean it is kinda half the reason they are there. Mizer is phenomenal at it too, everytime I start getting comfortable or start thinking for even a moment that I hold the power he proves me wrong. Honestly I recommend anyone who has the time and can find a good group give table top RP games a try, they are so addicting and so fun.

Today I worked a normal 8 hour shift.... no overtime...no 12 hours of work.... I feel odd.

Thought I was going to get another one, but I ended up cross training a coworker till 3 AM instead. Which means I just sat there in the corner filing the ends of aluminum bars smooth to keep busy while answering the occasional question. I can feel it all coming back to me, the familiar fatigue and altered mental status brought about by loud noise, coolant mist, and my coworkers constantly jump scaring me. I'm kinda ok with it honestly I feel odd working less than 12 hours and like the cash.

Well my family on my mom's side all have a tendency to work shift work... and my grandfather on my dad's side survived 4 tours of duty in the army. One in Korea and 3 in Vietnam, so I figure I probably inherited something from them... because I wonder the same thing some times. Not happy at all about being forced to work today... but at least its a nice easy 8 hour shift.

Well I go back to work today, I'm not exactly feeling 100% but regardless I'm eager to get back to work. Between my various expenses and all the money I didn't make at work I've lost about $1,000 during this last week..... I won't really be working any overtime this week since again I'm not really 100% but next week I'll be back to my usual tricks.

300 mg of antibiotics down 6,000 to go. oh I've also taken like 8,500 mg of painkillers since 11 AM yesterday. I love modern medicine.

When I got prescribed the antibiotics the doctor made her choice because of the fact that I'm allergic to 2 of the semi popular ones and they give me the runs.... so she gives me an antibiotic that I have to stop taking immediately if my skin just starts falling off or I get the runs and see lots of blood in it..... -_-

Primary doctor decided he did not approve of the kind doctor ladies choice of antibiotic, so he told me to stop taking it and prescribed me a new one. Overall the new one has a less heinous list of side effects, so that's good I guess.

So I have this list of accounts I check each day. It includes DA, an Anima RPG forum, and IDOJ. It does not include my email, my other email, my bank account, or my Facebook..... I just realized tonight that my Patreon account can now be considered part of the list... partly because I don't want to miss anything Mara posts but also because I get happy any time I see she has another patron because it means in some small way something is going her way.

Well... I got to speak with the plant manager for about 10 minutes today... And now I might find myself working up to 28 hours of overtime a week... that would be a total of 68 hours a week . but it would more than double my net income. soooo....... Greed wins over sloth this time.

I've just realized that most of my characters are developing serious grudges against the characters my best friend plays as...... And his characters are blissfully unaware and still consider my characters their best friends.... this can only end in heartache.

What would you do if you learned one day that a death god planned to plunge the whole world into a state of undeath and that you and your best friends were the only ones who could stop him. The catch? If he is destroyed his interference in the world which brought you together will also be undone... and unless you can find a way to avoid this none of you will ever meet. My RP character was just smacked in the face with this scenario, and he will have never met his love interest if this happens.

I just walked in on a meeting between one of the NPCs and the god of manipulation and the goddess of desire/emptiness....and it took me about 5 minutes to realize this... no wonder they found my musings on the occult amusing... Our GM is really outdoing himself with this campaign. Everyone is so emotionally invested that if any of our characters die.... we will probably all just start crying.

So as I was walking down the street before the parade I stopped and asked a few cub scouts to tuck in their uniforms and the little brats started mouthing off to me big time. Thankfully I never got a chance to properly lecture these kids on respect because the Cub Master did it for me. I guess watching them mouth off to an Eagle Scout didn't sit well with him.

Though considering the dirty tactics they resort to for things like a chance to be class president I don't think high stakes would truly be necessary. Funny enough I don't think Cindy's diary would be very different from Yuno's....

I have been on a roll creating new characters all week. I have created a color blind demolitions man named "Lucky", a schizophrenic warrior devoted to chaos, the orphan daughter of a pirate captain, and an illusion mage who has lost his grip on reality.... now I just need to find a chance to play them all.
