[Lily Knotwise]

Jimmy Neutron has a great opening theme song, and the two montages that have gone with it are both great, but can you do better?

This contest is to make a new opening for the show, using clips from the seasons. It's like a music video, but the song is much shorter, and there's no particular theme.

My guidelines for a new Opening Theme:

-Keep the original song. This is easy, all you have to do is drag a clip of the opening song from an episode into the "audio/music" section instead of the "video" section in Windows Movie Maker. I assume that's what everyone uses to make music videos since it comes with most computers these days... If you're using another program, I'm sure you can do something similar. B)

-Keep the music video theme general. I love my JC videos just as much as any other JC fan, but I made this contest to see who could make the best opening theme. Many fans wouldn't be very happy if the theme song was all clips of Jimmy and Cindy moments... <_<

-Use clips from only Jimmy Neutron. I know that's a given, but you never know what people might do. :rolleyes:

Suggestions/What will win you points with me:

-EITHER you use the beginning part with "3, 2, 1" and the end title "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius" OR you use other clips for those two parts in a creative and appropriate way. I'd think it would be best to use the original clips for those parts, but if you want to be adventurous and creative and do something different, be my guest. If it's done effectively and well, it'll score you BIG points. :D

-At the end of the clip, with the title of the show, you use the one from season 3... Aka the one with Libby in it. I heart her, and I don't like seeing her excluded. (If you can't get a hold of the version with Libby in it, just let me know when you hand it in. I won't take away points if it's not your fault). ^_^

-The more clips you use, the better! Well... Unless they're going so fast you can't even tell what the individual clips are... The point is, you don't want just 3 long scenes for the theme song... You want variety and excitment, and the best way to get that across is lots of fun and different clips! :P

Prizes:

-a keeper banner, or keeper avatars (or those two combined). If you keep anything, I will put them in banner/avatar form for you in any style/colour/etc. of your choice. Go to page four of this topic to see an example of MY keepers banner.

I'm going to add on another prize for more motivation (and because not everyone has keeps) so stay tuned for part two. Some POSSIBLE prizes (with some help...) could be a custom made: music video, banner, avatar, one-shot fanfiction. But those aren't the only possibilities.

If anyone has any suggestions and/or donations for prizes, please let me know!

The deadline is too be decided, depending on how many people want to enter and when I can possibly get help with prizes. Maybe. I'll get back to you. First, you get back to me!

So, one more request... If you are even INTERESTED in entering this, please let me know or post here... You don't even have to follow through, I just want to see who's interested, and how many people. Thank you very, very much and as Hugh always says... "And remember, have fun with it!" ^_^

Maybe you could even have a "Special regonation" on some prizes for individual things you liked or something, and that way, everyone kind of wins. And again, I'd help. xD

I knoww! >.< I definitely didn't mean you, I know you are very devoted.. I just mean only two people have expressed interest, and I'd like more. ^.^; Not that two people isn't great! But a contest is much more fun with lots of entries. ^.^

That's true. I mean it's not much of a contest if only 2 people enter.

Me, that's like extremely obessed with JN I think about ALL the time.I dream of it. When I go to bed I get like great ideas for my story I'm writing,but the next day I forget. :grr: When I go to school all my friends know what I'm going to talk about.Jimmy Neutron. Even during tests. When I was talking the CMT (Connecticut Mastery Test it's a big thing) 10 seconds in a question an I'm thinking"Jimmy and Cindy are such a great couple
I should make a fanfic of their first date." Next thing I know I have 10 minutes to do like 30 questions.

Anyway, I went off topic, this contest should have advertisment.

And I fully do the same thing as you do when it comes to JN... And none of my friends like JN! It's not fair! That's why I love this site! ^_^

Oh, and by the way you two, thanks so much for already starting your videos, but don't feel rushed or anything... I'll probably give people lots of time to do this... It takes awhile to make a MV, and there are a few other contests going on, so I'm going to not rush this one. Hopefully I'll get more people this way. ^_^

The same thing happens with me Lily Knotwise. At school only 1 person watches the show and that's once in a blue moon. Sometimes others make rude remarks :'( .
It really isn't fair. JN is a great show. And this site is THE BEST :dance: .
People are nice here.

And by the way, I'm making progress on my MV. :D The whole thing is mapped out in my head. All I have to do is put my ideas in the computer. Making this MV is so much fun.

Heck yes you can make more than one! :D But only one can win, just remember that. ^_^

And the best thing to do to enter your video would be to upload it onto one of the many sites dedicated to that, and then send me the link. It's ok if I have to download it from the site, so don't worry about that. Some good sites for uploading would be Photobucket (it's a new feature... I think... I downloaded my MV onto Photobucket though) or YouTube. But if you have another site, that's fine. Whatever works for you though!

And thanks JCFOREVER, I'm just surprised no one's done my idea already. :P Why can't you enter though??? *tear*
