Mara: Nah, you know I love fanfiction you guys. We were just having a little fun.Clark Kent-Great scott, Cindy. You and Libby and Mara let out some serious steam there, any comment?
Cindy: Fun? You call authors messing with our lives FUN? We have the right to stand up for ourselves!
Libby: Cool it, girl. Mara's right. It's all good.

The people who seem to have used Alphabet soup to make thier fic are disrespecting the show.
I might understand if their five and want to write something, since they have not been introduced to the finer points in grammar and such, but it is not acceptable if they're in their teens and up who cannot form a coherent sentence.
Plotline? Writing out personal fantasies is disturbing and badly demeans anyone. They create an image of a sex mongering failure-in-life if all the people write about is who banged what and who's cheating who.
What many of the writer's don't know is that when they post this type of waste, it disrespects the show and the creators. I would hardly think Mr. Davis would want his characters abused, sex deprived, beaten and, of course, OOC. I focus my stories so that I could represent what the show was like if it were to continue in an honest manner. (As for pairings, I read all kinds except for the Jimmy x Tree weirdo kinds and I see it as very creative liberty to be able to create a couple that wasn't supported in the show.)
And don't pull the AU schtick on me. Nasty is just nasty.

Thank you, i will not read that fic. AAAAAAAAAACK that just throws the whole show out of character!!!! The show is rated what, Y7? Come on, we just don't need that kind of stuff. :grr:I know, right? I read "Pain", and it was without a doubt the most melodramatic, massively OOC piece of JN fanfiction I have ever laid eyes upon. I mean...Cindy's dad being an abuser? Sheen's dad an alcoholic? JIMMY'S dad a wife beater??? As in that gentle, cluess guy obsessed with pie and ducks?? WTF?
And then there's the kids...Nick's a druggie girlfriend beater, Cindy is a push-over who can't even articulate her thoughts, Sheen's a cheater, Jimmy's a cheater, and everyone seems to be experiencing SEVERE mental issues. Not to mention the fact that practically everyone has slept with everyone else! Sheen and Cindy, Jimmy and Libby...I was like...eww! You perverted writer! Put that pen away before you hurt someone!
And then, as if things weren't soap-operish enough, the author had to go and give Jimmy a brain tumor. Hello! He's a genius! Why can't he cure the thing? Why can't he give Nick a piece of one of his inventions? Where the heck ARE his inventions???
Anyway, this little commentary by Cindy and Libby was my way of having the last laugh in terms of fics like that one.

Yeah. I've got a sick and twisted mind. :P
I don't like TOO much of it, though. I adore one-shots, but chapter stories going on and on with it kind of turns me off. Unless you count my new fic. "heck's Angel." But I'm still trying to limit myself, lol. :)

But Suicide is wrong any body should know that and I'm not talking about stuff like Titanic I'm talling about Jimmy Neutron a cartoon not real life. some stuff like the Titanic is ok I guess it's not as bad as a cartoon character Killing themself.Actually, people kill themselves all the time. It's no new "OMFG SUICIDE " thing. It's gone on throughout history as long as we can recall.

i thoroughly agree, sarah. suicide is wrong, especially in a kid's show. However, i do like drama. a serious injury, a seemingly hopeless situation that turns at the last minute...that's my kind of drama. My favorite episode of JN: I don't have a favorite. I like too many of them. The N Men is probably my favorite, but I don't like how everyone picks on Jimmy. I can say that besides that, even though it's a TV movie, I love Win, Lose, and Kaboom. :)
By the way: Have you ever listened to My Chemical Romance? Or Evanescence? They're usually the main two bands that inspire me to write sad/angsty stories.
Sorry for getting a bit off topic, Mara! But hey, we're discussing one thing you pointed out: drama in fics. And I can't blame you, some fics ARE melo-dramatic (including mine), lol."

But suicide is wrong no matter what people say it dose not matter if your depressed it is still not right to Kill yourself. (and no I'm not give this up because it's wrong). my fav ep of Jimmy Neutron is stranded. and no i've never listened to those band's I think you said?To some people, isn't wrong at ALL. If they're , sometimes they feel the need to leave. And plus, I don't make cartoons kill themselves at the age they are. I usually say that they're around fifteen or sixteen.

What about you do you think it's wrong?Well, that's YOUR opinion. In many eyes, suicide is not wrong. At all. Just like some people believe that there is no God. Just because YOU say suicide is wrong, doesn't mean that you are right.
