What do people think of this episode? It's weird for so many reasons:

1) It spends the least time in Retroville of them all (except maybe The Junkman Cometh)

2)  Eustace Strych becomes an anti-hero like Cindy, despite becoming evil again in League of Villains

3) It's one of the few episodes that seems to not prioritize comedy

4)  All that J/C stuff in the first half that wouldn't even need to be there

5) Those weird martian dudes

Also I believe it was Gene Grillo's last not counting When Nerds Collide

Granted, yeah, it's got a lot of J/C shipping in it, but it does have some humor in it with Carl and Sheen, and some from Libby, too, like when she says:

:Libby: Is that... *sniffs* Eau d'Amino Acid?? Girl, you just brought us here so you could flirt with Jimmy...!

:Cindy: I did NOT! I'm here because Jimmy values my scientific input...! ;) ^^; *walks over to him*

:Libby: Why don't those two just get a lab...?? <_<

I'm guessing the reason why the Space Bandits were the ones who stayed redeemed in the end instead of Eustace was because those guys were less serious villains to begin with...I mean if I recall correctly the Bandits never actually tried KILLING anyone, not even Goddard. Also yeah there is some humor, just not as much as normal. I actually dislike the episode, mainly for the fact that it pushes the romance just as much as "Stranded" did, but unlike "Stranded" (where the plot was literally about confirming Jimmy and Cindy's relationship by having them do the "stranded on an island" cliche) the romance here felt unnecessary and like they were just doing it to make J/C fans happy since it was one of the last episodes. I am a full supporter of Jimmy and Cindy's relationship, but I feel like the focus should've been the novelty of the kids going to Mars, if that makes any sense.
