As much as I can agree, the series is better than the movie. But before the series, during the era of the movie and the interstitials, NO ONE'S GONNA TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH OF A CUTE LIL MUFFIN HE WAS DURING THAT TIME?! 
I mean, JUST LOOK AT HIM! So smolllllllllllllllllllllll! He's suppose to be 10, but he looks like a freakin' 6 six-year, especially wearing those shorts and loafers. The same goes for his adorable, baby-like voice. 
His personality furthermore, rather than being an arrogant, self-centered know-it-all (no shade, thou), he's clumsy, awkward, immature, and shy. He can't take off into the air, in his jetpack, without bumping into the nearest wall! XD

MoiveJimmy is the true precious cinnamon roll! 
He also becomes more open about his feelings for Cindy, too, which she reciprocates in certain scenarios, such as Stranded. He learns to rely on his friends for help instead of only trusting himself, like in WLK.
