[Scythe]

I dicided to do a Jimmy Neutron: Season Zero kinda thing, where he develops friendship with Carl and Sheen and a rivalry with Cindy. Things that are later in the series are explained (like Sheen wanting to buy him since he was five-years-old, and the point that Hugh and Judy were living in Retroville before Jimmy was born ect. So yeah...here is Episode #1 where he makes his lab!

JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS:
SEASON ZERO!

Episode One: The Lab:

“So is it true that you guys actually used to live in this house?” 9-year old Jimmy Neutron asked his parents. He placed the heavy luggage on the ground and looked up at their new house.
“It sure was,” said Hugh. “There is an excellent basement down there. You could turn it into some sort of High-tech disco if you want to. Well, we have the entire house known well...if only your aunt didn't need that constant care for the last six years. We'll worry about the unpacking, you can go check out your new school!”
Jimmy smiled gleefully and quickly whistled. “Come here Goddard....come on boy!” The robotic dog pounced on-top and Jimmy and started licking him. “Get off me boy! Wanna check out the new school?”
“Bark Bark!” Goddard responded in agreement.
“Now,” said Judy Neutron. “Be back by seven and before Hugh eats all of the pie tonight. Bye now.”
Jimmy flipped his back-pack over his left shoulder and then got it fully positioned. “Okay Goddard,” said Jimmy. “In three days there will be a big day ya know. I'll be at a brand new school...make...no new friends until the fifth grade...and not have a clue what is going on. Well, I'd better check out my soon-to-be misery right now.” Jimmy and Goddard ran to Linberg Elementary and looked at the place. He went inside the school afterward. The lights were dimmed low, seemed like a nice way to help Jimmy get used to this school.
This school was much different to him than his old one. It required the use of lockers other than just putting your backpack on the ground in the classroom. Jimmy remembered the name of his teacher: Mr. Arracknoi. He looked inside the classroom.
“Okay Goddard,” said Jimmy. “I guess the room doesn't look to bad.” He took out the door running back home.

“Home so soon Jimbo?” Hugh asked. “Your mother and I thought you might check out the place a bit more.”
“Well,” said Jimmy. “There wasn't much to see. Later Dad...” Jimmy walked upstairs and it seemed to be him room. “Hm,” he said. “Goddard! I've got my own personal bathroom. I now have a place to put all of my styling and hygiene inventions. Hm, pretty cool.” Jimmy went onto his bed and plopped down. He looked over to see that his computer was completely set up. “I guess that there is nothing to do yet,” said Jimmy. His parents were downstairs watching T.V. “That is it Goddard!” Goddard looked up.
“Hmm?” Goddard hummed as he looked up to Jimmy.
“I'll make a lab! I could completely make it out of scratch in the basement...install a super-high tech computer out of my new big-screen T.V...I could make a pathway to get in....oh! And most needed, a D.N.A. scanner. I can make it read my hair.
“Bark...grrr....BARK BARK!”
“Hey...good idea Goddard. I can put a computer in their with all of the high tech features of my lab, including a personality...kinda. Goddard, display female names that would be good for my system.
Goddard showed the first name with a computer reading it: “Cindy.”
“Nah,” said Jimmy. “It would need to be something more creative than that.”
Goddard provided the next option: “VOX.”
“Wait a minute...that's perfect!” Jimmy hopped up from his bed. “Come on...we are going to the soon-to-be lab!”

Goddard and Jimmy arrived in the basement. “Okay,” said Jimmy. “First I will construct the main lab. Then I will take stuff from the door over there to create a pathway that will go to the backyard, where there will be a clubhouse including necessary accessing systems, so no intruders can get in. First...could I as you to use your lasers to destroy all of the wallpaper? I would like to get a nice old-fashioned, but still clean, structure for my lab.” Goddard started to get rid of all of the wallpaper. Jimmy climbed upstairs.
“Hey Jim-Jam!” said Hugh. “Are you making that disco downstairs?”
“I sure am,” said Jimmy. “Only if by disco you mean laboratory. Do you now if you could help me make a simple clubhouse?”
“I wouldn't mind at all,” said Hugh. “But I will need to gather some wood first, and I can do that when coming home tomorrow from some extra Saturday work.
“Okay Dad.”

It took a lot of work...but by bedtime, Jimmy already completely made the first section to his lab. He still needed to buy some desks, gather parts to turn his big-screen T.V. Into a high-tech computer, and he also wanted a bathroom and a express route from his room. But that, he guessed could be the last thing he would do. He didn't even need to make it. The visions flowed through Jimmy's head as he thought about his cool new lab here in Retroville.

The next day, Hugh arrived back home with some wood. Jimmy already placed a chair exactly where he wanted the lab to go.
“You see Dad,” said Jimmy. “He will make the club house's outside in this area, I will take care of everything after that. It needs to be a perfect distance from the lab so that it can be my entrance point.”
Hugh was...well he wasn't really following Jimmy. The words were too complicated for him. “Okay...” said Hugh. “Would you like the light brown wood or the dark bricks?”
“I would like wood,” said Jimmy. “I want to get the lab done before school starts. I think the wood would be faster, and more compatible for Goddard.”

After the three days were up, Jimmy almost had the lab completely made. All he needed was to think about what he was going to do about VOX.

“I wonder,” said Jimmy. “How am I going to give her a personality...what will she sound like? How am I going to make it seem like she has known me as long as you have Goddard?”
Goddard displayed a large amount of Female voices and Jimmy picked the one that sounded the best. Goddard then went over to the big-screen T.V. and downloaded the voice into it.
“That is it Goddard,” said Jimmy. “I can use your personality-chip and install it into my computer. I will copy the data and put it back into you, and then I will install the copy into my D.N.A. scanner, connecting both the D.N.A. scanner and the computer together causing VOX to control the lab for me. Well...I'd better get to sleep. It is 11:00. Sleep mode boy...” Goddard got into his power-pad and fell asleep. Jimmy got into his bed and did the same.

Very well written! But wasn't it Cindy who moved, not Jimmy? I talked with Keith Alcorn about it on FB once, and he said my hunch was right about Cindy moving. And that quote in the movie about her being the smartest in her class until Jimmy came along? Think of it this way: she was the smartest kid in her old school until she moved and he "came along" into her life. See what I mean by that?? haha

I Guess it could be either way even if it wasn't supposed to be one or the other. I dunno...

I make things that make people wonder clear later, like:

Sorry Jimmy, I've been wanting to buy you ever since I was five years old.!

Yeah, that gets solved.

I just thought it would add more plotline if it were Jimmy instead of Cindy, either way it technicaly works.

Jimmy moved from Retroville to his Aunt's six years ago.

In the next episode I explain how Sheen's Mom and Dad knew Jimmy's Parents.

And that quote in the movie about her being the smartest in her class until Jimmy came along? Think of it this way: she was the smartest kid in her old school until she moved and he "came along" into her life. See what I mean by that?? haha

Actually, I asked one of the animators about this on Deviantart, and he said that the canon for the movie and the series are different. In the movie, it was heavily implied that Jimmy was the one who moved to Retroville. In the series, Jimmy seems to have lived there since he was a toddler, if not since birth.
It's just one of those pesky continuity things that doesn't really matter...I'd say you could pick either interpretation and still have it be canon.

This is the next Chapter to the book. (They aren't really in an "Episode" form, I just use that as a joke. It really is just one big fic.)

I was disappointed with this Chapter...Since the most of it was talking to Sheen and arguing with Cindy, there was like...two sentances of Discription in the entire thing. Anyways...

Jimmy Neutron: Season Zero Episode 2: S.C.HOOL (Sheen, Cindy, HOOL)

Jimmy flipped from his railing and landed on the last step. The bus was approaching his house already.
“Goddard,” said Jimmy. “Door!” Goddard ran over to the door and opened it for him. Jimmy ran through it and once the bus got to his house, he ran up onto it. He started to try to find a place to sit. “Um...” he said. He spotted a kid in the middle waving his arms in the air.
“Ooh! Ooh! Here!” The kid he saw had spiky black hair with a Mexican accent. The weirdest thing about him though, is that he had no chin. He had a neck that turned into a head at the top. Jimmy shrugged and sat down beside him. “Hiya Big-Head. I'm Sheen, Sheen Estevez. What is your name?”
“Jimmy Neutron,” said Jimmy uncomfortably.
Sheen expressed an extremely bright look on his face. “Hey...I remember you from around six years ago when I was only five. My dad knows your parents, Hugh and Judy right?”
Jimmy's eyes popped open. “Really? So are you in fifth grade?”
“No,” said Sheen. “I got held back in second grade, and then again...*ahem* in second grade.
“How can you get held back in the same grade twice?” Jimmy asked in a sort of laugh. He obviously hadn't met someone like Sheen at his old school.
“I dunno,” Sheen said. “Okay, here is who you will meet at this school. That guy over there, Butch. He is one crazy whack-job. The kid he is beating on is Oleander. The guy observing, Carl Wheezer. A complete nerd, has no dignity, and is obsessed with llamas. He isn't as bad as others. Oh, the black girl in front of us, Libby Folfax. She is one mean chick. She seems to have something against guys. Kinda good-looking but doesn't stop her from being hated by me. And beside her, the blonde one, is the absolute SMARTEST kid in school. She is also one big pain in the neck! Makes Butch look like a toddler. One crazy girl.
Jimmy stared at her in shock. “When you say, smartest kid in school. What exactly do you mean by it?”
“All A's.” said Sheen. “She got one B on Social Studies last week, and she kinda went crazy about it. Didn't speak or show-off for the rest of the day. I saw her throw the paper away later that day.”
The blonde girl with two pig-tails turned around. “Oh, says Mr. All C's and D's.” she said. “Who is this loser?”
Sheen looked worried. “I know how to get her to stop talking to us.” he whispered to Jimmy. “He is the NEW smartest kid in school! Yeah...he could completely wipe your extremely known title!”
“Oh really?” asked Cindy. “We can all just see about that. How much do you think you can bet?”
“Um...Five dollars...” Sheen said in a worried tone. They shook on it and she turned back around. “I am doomed...” he said.
“Don't worry Sheen,” said Jimmy. “I get all A+'s. Never an A or B in my life.”
“Really!” Sheen asked. “Vortex will completely lose this bet1 Oh, but in case she is right, could you lend me two bucks?”
“Sure,” said Jimmy.

Later, Jimmy arrived in Mr. Arracknoi's class. He, unfortunately, sat right in front of Cindy Vortex....
“Well, Students.” Mr. Arracknoi said. “We have a new student today, his name is James Neutron. James, could you come up to the front?”
Jimmy pushed his chair out and came to the the front. “Hi everybody.” said Jimmy. “I hope that I can get to know you all and have a good time this year.”
“Now,” said Mr. Arracknoi. “Do any of you have any questions to as Mr. Neutron?”
Cindy's hand shot into the air immediately.
“Cindy.”
“Thank you,” said Cindy. “Tell me James, are you as smart as Ultra-Freak says you are, or was he just trying to shut me up?”
“Well,” said Jimmy. “I am assuming you mean Sheen because I haven't met anyone else. He was trying to shut you up-”
“I knew it!” Cindy exclaimed.
“But I am extremely smart. But it is possible, even in a 384,927% to 1% chance, that there could be another Super-genius at this school.”
Cindy laughed. “Oh...you kill me kid. 'Genius?' Are you referring to the head you are trying to lift?” Jimmy looked very angry.
“Oh!” Sheen yelled from the back of the room. “You are just to conceded to accept the fact that he may be smarter than you.”
“Be quiet,” Cindy yelled.
“Carl,” said Sheen. “Help me with this. We need to defend our new big-headed friend from Vortex!”
“But I don't even know him,” said Carl, jumping up from his seat. One suspender on his over-all’s came loose and he tried to put them back together.
“Well you'd better get to know him Carlito!”
Mr Arracknoi said, slightly loud: “Okay Class! That is enough war for right now. Jimmy, if you have a hard time on anything just come to me for help.
“He seems like a nice guy,” said Carl.
“A nice guy who is going to pone Vortex. He told me that he never got anything below an A+ in his life. Even Vortex got a B before."

Hmm, it was shame, too. I was beginning to like the story unfold.

No, not really. I am just working on a variety of different Fanfictions at this point and I also lost my file for this one. I could continue, but It is pretty crazy with how much I am working on right now.
