But seriously, I'd love to see Kyoto since it's traditional, but I always want to visit the district of Harajuku in Tokyo for the fashion.

Reviving!!!! Japan RULES!!! Been listening to a CRAPLOAD of excellent Japanese music lately, my faves being Freeze by SOSOSO(Tsukui Kazuhito) and Melissa by Porno Graffiti(Fullmetal Alchemist sountrack)! And who DOESN'T love Hello Kitty?! I love how it's associated so much with Japan! Man, I could go on and on about this whole thing!! ![]()

Oh my word, I've read so many! Speak of the devil, I'm currently reading through Rurouni Kenshin... Some of my favorites include Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, Fruits Basket, Full Moon o Sagashite, Skip Beat! Gakuen Alice.... okay, I'll stop before I go on and on... xD
I used to really enjoy Naruto[Shippuden], Bleach, and D-Grey Man, but I got a little bored of each of those after a couple hundred chapters of repetitiveness and excessively long battle scenes... =\

I prefer shojo, and the only one I read is Dengeki Daisy, since I don't know of any that are relatively clean like that one as far as content goes, meaning little suggestiveness, little violence/blood, VERY little bad language, no WAY OFF-THE-WALL "love(more like LUST)" scenes, you get the idea... I've got ten volumes so far, and I want Volumes Eleven and Twelve SO badly!! It's addictive for me!
What do you think of Japanese music, by the way?? Or have you even listened to it? Cuz, if not, you have NO idea what you're missing!! ![]()

Not sure if this technically counts, since the main singer is actually Korean, but I've always enjoyed BoA's "Possibility"
Fun fact: I really loved her haircut in this music video, and had mine cut the same way. I had never gone that short before (had only gone down to shoulder length)! I've pretty much kept my hair short ever since! I'm addicted to Korean - style short haircuts! (If I keep this up, I'll make this into a Koreanophile topic)

After Japanese, the second language I'd wanna learn is Korean. There's just something about the East Asian languages and cultures that fascinate me to no end!
You like this one from Fullmetal Alchemist? I know I do, after hearing it on my "Japanimation" Pandora station!!

I have an aunt that worked as a teacher in Japan for a while and another aunt that simply travels everywhere and they both have some amusing tales of their time in Japan. It's practically two different countries at this point, the country still has that classic Japanese feel to it while the cites..... they are something else entirely. But what do you expect from the country that though this up. http://youtu.be/v9T5J7UWMm8?t=5m50s
