If the world were under attack by aliens, could you stop it and how would you do so? On the flip side, if you couldn't stop it, how do you respond?

I'm interested in joining so long as it is ok for me to bring over the characters I play in my RP group. They may come from a preexisting world but the lore for it is vague as can be and only gives a very rough idea. For instance it might describe a country that vaguely resembles Rome and gives a few tidbits of info but in the end it leaves all the details to the GM to fill in and thus the world becomes ours in a sense. That and we have several worlds that we created ourselves to play in, one of these is a future version of the world several millennium in the future that bears absolutely no resemblance to the original. If Mara deems this ok I will jump in with at least 3.

Yay, another chance to use Amethyst!!

Amethyst: There's NO way I could defend myself against invaders from another world!! Provided these creatures didn't attack the oceans, I'd first lead my best friend Nicole to a secluded ocean port, equip her with scuba gear, then dive in with her to my secret underwater hideout to live in seclusion until it blew over, hopefully. And if that meant a longer time to stay down there than her scuba gear could last, I'd use my mermaid abilities to transform her into one of my kind, complete with gills she could breathe with and the ability to withstand an enormous amount of water pressure down to two full miles deep. I only want to protect her, after all, since she did rescue me!

Amethyst: Provided this happened in my natural element, the ocean, I would gladly put my life on the line to save my best friend Nicole-chan. The only reason I said it this way was cuz I'm still trying to get accustomed to life on land with her...

How do you feel about snow?

Amethyst: When I saw it through a window for the first time, I was truly amazed.  At first, I thought it was supposed to be fluffy, airy, and warm...  But when I rushed out in just a short sleeved shirt, skirt, and my boots, I was blown away at how cold it was! I ran back inside to get warm and Nicole explained it to me and how I need to dress warm for snowy weather.  After that, I was willing to give it another try after she'd given me some snuggly and water repellant clothes to put on, and I had a blast once I was wearing them!  Now I love the snow!

Daniel: You mean that doesn't happen to normal people on a regular basis? -quirks an eyebrow and chuckles a bit- I'm not easily intimidated, I've seen too much to be.. so I'd do what I always do. Depends on what we mean by "against the law" and really depends on if it's morally wrong. If it's morally wrong I'm going to try and distract them long enough to get out my sword and fight them if I have to. But if this is a black and white question with no getting around the whole death thing, guess I'd be dying. -shrugs-

Daniel Comache:
Daniel is a 21 year old anthropomorphic hedgehog with a sharp, sassy and sarcastic attitude, and an affinity for swords. He's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, though he's calmed down a little bit as he's gotten older. He grew up on Earth, but he's actually from a planet thousands of miles away, he later returns there and is currently a member of a group of Freedom Fighters who do their best to help others, and they all visit Earth from time to time.
Question for others:If you had one day left to live, what would you do with it?

(Don't you mean thousands of light years? Thousands of MILES would be just one Earth diameter away, and if that was the case, then the Earth and that other planet would wind up colliding eventually, depending on the other planet's size and its orbit... Or they'd just slingshot one or the other into other planets or out of the solar system entirely, also depending on the other planet's mass and gravitational pull... Oh, jeez, look at me, letting out my inner astronomy nerd! *sarcastically* What's wrong with me?? LMAO Pukin' Pluto, I'm such an astronomy nerd! )

Amethyst: Oh, that's easy for me! Pufferfish! Yes, I realize they're highly toxic, at least for humans, but since I'm a mermaid, I have a natural immunity and can easily consume it after removing the annoying spikes... I'll eat it raw, cooked, in a seaweed salad, you name it!

Okay, OC's, here's another good question for ya: If you were out sailing or fishing in the middle of the ocean and a gigantic sea monster suddenly appeared in front of you that threatened to sink your boat, like the kraken, hydra, or even Cthulhu, what would you do?!
