Greetings all JN fans. My name's Ryan aka quietthinker, and I just joined this forum. I posted about 30 pieces of JN fanfiction roughly 5 years ago, the last of which was The Final Battle. After half of a decade's absence, I've begun work on a sequel to The Final Battle. It's called Pushing Through and deals with the consequences of the kids' latest adventure. The emotional trauma that everyone has been through plays a large role and is the part of the story that I am most excited about. Seven chapters are already uploaded on fanfiction.net, and the eighth should be up tomorrow.

If you're interested in reading, I should warn you about a couple of things. This will be a long story. I'm expecting it to reach about 25 chapters and 100,000 words. The other thing is that there are a few original characters in the story, which I know many of you readers have strong negative feelings about. The focus still remains on Jimmy, Cindy, Nick, Carl, Sheen, and Libby, however.

I really hope some of you are interested in checking this story out. My profile page on fanfiction.net is full of commentary on the various chapters (so if you do read, quickly scroll all the way to the bottom to avoid spoilers on the most recent chapters). And whether you like it or hate it, please full absolutely free to review, private message me, or reply on this forum. I love nothing more than corresponding with my audience. I've been following your fic "Pushing Through" and I managed to read all the way through "The Final Battle." It's such a great storyline, and it's totally believable both in JN homage/movie style and in sci-fi/realistic fiction stream of progression and flow. I love it. Really glad to hear you've liked both books and enjoy the storyline. I've had a lot of fun planning everything out and I can't believe how far things have come from when these kids first came back from their battle with Eustace on the moon. Thanks for the response and kind words!
