I love “My Valentine” but Donut Boy has to be my favourite, the whole Donut Boy scenes are my favourite bits of Hugh from the show.

The donut boy scenes were Hugh at his most shoehorned and rambunctious IMO but I respect your opinion. I like "Cool as Can Be" because it's performed by Peter Frampton (Unlike the talking scenes of Cool Hugh which are just his regular voice actor) and he helped Charlie Brissette and Steven Banks make the song.

 

I also like "My Valentine" of course although it's kinda weird how Cindy's one big spotlight in the series is just to enforce her facade...thoughts on this?

When it comes to Cindy, I think there's a lot more that's hidden than is shown in the show, though, granted, there are hints about why she acts the way she does... Some of it probably has to do with her home life; she's shown always striving to be the best at everything she does, which I'm sure is due to pressure from her mom, and maybe her dad, dunno, to be that way. As one can imagine, that puts a lot on an eleven-year-old's shoulders, but she cleverly keeps it hidden the majority of the time, the stress from that, I mean... She was, after all, the smartest kid in school until she moved to Retroville and discovered that there was a kid there smarter than her, Jimmy. That only made her feel even more pressure to be the best, and to top it off, she develops a crush on him, but doesn't want anyone to know about it, so she picks on him and teases him in a vain attempt to hide it... He also develops one on her and tries to hide it, as well, by arguing with her and pranking her sometimes with his inventions, oftentimes sending them on some sort of adventure, with Carl, Sheen, and Libby often getting dragged into it; sometimes even the whole town gets unwittingly dragged into it against their will...

LOL Wow, talk about getting off topic here! Anyway, mine has to be My Valentine, since she's basically hinting big time that she wants to make him do what she wants, just so she can spend time with him without giving away the fact that she has a major crush on Jimmy...

I don't really get the whole thing about her home life tbh. If anything I think she's somewhat spoiled by her parents as there are several instances of her acting quite snobby and judgemental...maybe I just don't understand tsundere characters idk
