A place to discuss the musicals, post quotes and youtube bits, repeatedly make inside jokes, and write supermegafoxyawesomehot essays on why Team Starkid is Totally Awesome.

Thanks to John, for suggesting over in the AVPS topic that we all kick it up a notch.

First time posting in this fanclub? Here's a tip. State your name (or your Farm Planet name, if you prefer), your favorite Starkid musical, and what song gets stuck in your head most often. You'll be welcomed with hugs and a can of Squirt.

My name? Katie. But on Farm Planet, I'd be Teachy Critters.

My favorite Starkid musical? So hard to choose. SO hard. Starship has seriously threatened the top spot placement of AVPM. Which has already been under constant pressure to be removed by its successor, AVPS. I think I'll need to return to this question a little while later, when I've had more distance between me and my first few viewings of Starship, so I can answer with a clearer mind.

Song that gets stuck in my head most often? Probably Granger Danger. I don't think it's my favorite song, but it's just so darn cute and catchy!

Sadly, I have never seen Me and My Dick (simply never had the time, keep putting it off and stuff). I have seen and enjoyed their other musicals, however! My favorite of their musicals might just be Starship. Kick It Up A Notch gets stuck in my head the most, but The Way I Do is sweeter and Status Quo is more epic. AVPM is also really, really neat (my favorite song would be... every single one, I'd have a hard time picking one. It'd be easier to pick the songs I enjoy less, but that'd be mean because I still enjoy them, just on a slightly lesser level than the totally awesome majority). I like AVPS, but IMO it doesn't quite measure up to the original-though it does have some pretty awesome songs, the two most notably awesome being To Have A Home and Those Voices.

I've only seen AVPM and AVPS in full, but I'm watching MAMD right now. It's pretty funny so far, but I think the HP geek in my would have to say that this probably won't be my fave. I honestly can't decide between AVPM and AVPS though. They're so different....

Some kind soul who was at the concert last night put this up on youtube! The Starkids were sneaky and saved "Back to Hogwarts" for last in the program. And since Darren was here, they start out with a huddle trying to figure out if they should include him, since they've been touring with this for weeks and have been doing the song differently without him.

This should give you guys a taste of the insanity that was the SPACE Tour.

Just finished watching the staged reading of AVPSY and I'm bawling my eyes out. I really didn't think it was going to make me cry, but...here I am.
