All ya have to do is sign up, and it's completely free! Once that's done, go to the home page and scroll down 'till ya see the link that says "Candy Doll Maker (Candybar)", then click on it. There, you can make whatever doll you wish, and when you're done, uncheck the box that says "Reduce" and click Build, then save the completed doll to your computer and upload that to photobucket or something. It's that easy!

I used the newest version of elouai, which is better organized than thedollpalace and has more clothes options (only downside is, you can't change skin tones)

Mara, the only reason I put a brown background on my latest update of it was cuz it represented chocolate, and everyone loves chocolate-covered strawberries!!
