Okay, it's high time we established who on IDOJ is a fan of Labyrinth. If you are obsessed with this goblin-filled movie, then put on your hot pants, take a bite from a date-rape peach, and jump into this topic!

I love this movie to pieces, ever since I discovered it back in high school. To be clear: I am probably the only Labyrinth fan on the entire internet who does NOT ship Jareth and Sarah (because it's creepy and I don't approve of pedophilia, lol). There are only a few fanfics I've read that have actually made that situation work, but most the time...just...ew.

Also, I do not find David Bowie attractive, and am mentally scarred by all the crotch shots of this film.

So why do I like it?

BECAUSE it's friggin' AWESOME!

Goblin muppets, big furry friends, Escher rooms, excessive amounts of glitter...what's NOT to love?

So step up and join in! You're allowed in even if you do drool over the Goblin King and want him to hook up with the fourteen year-old, btw.

I like it too. My stepdad showed it to me when I was seven. I recently saw it last year and I still like it.
Not really a shipper of anyone in the movie. Being that age when I first saw it...I never really noticed the crotch shots

I recently got into the Labyrinth again too, and I own it on VHS but I haven't seen it in forever. I do love the muppets though, because how can you not? I don't think I shipped anyone when I first saw it either, since I was like 10 I think. Glad to know I'm not alone in liking it!!

That's fine that you ship Jareth/Sarah, Katy - basically the entire Labyrinth fandom does. Kind of nice to see a few people here not doing it so I don't feel so alone for once. I do understand the ship, though.

And Sarah is actually 14, though the actress playing her was 15 during filming.
