Do you ever listen to a song and think "Gee, it's almost like Carl could be singing this!"?

Well, here's your chance to post about it!

The song lyrics can represent a certain character, a certain relationship, or a certain episode. Get creative. You can also alter lyrics to fit characters.

I'm going to start obvious - relationship songs are the easiest.

Here's me imagining what runs through Jimmy's head when Cindy gets into his lab:

"Just What I Needed" - The Cars

I don't mind you coming here
And wasting all my time
'Cause when you're standing oh so near
I kinda lose my mind

It's not the perfume that you wear
It's not the ribbons in your hair
I don't mind you coming here
And wasting all my time

I don't mind you hanging out
And talking in your sleep
It doesn't matter where you've been
As long as it was deep, yeah

You always knew to wear it well, and
You look so fancy I can tell
I don't mind you hanging out
And talking in your sleep

I guess you're just what I needed
(Just what I needed)
I needed someone to feed
I guess you're just what I needed
(Just what I needed)
I needed someone to bleed

Anyone else with lyric ideas?

I think I have one. Maybe. Every time I hear the song Blown Away by Carrie Underwood I can see Cindy singing this about her parents and her whole family life. Well if I alter the lyrics a bit but it fits, i guess. You'd have to switch Momma and Daddy and change Oklahoma to either Texas or Retroville. Then it should fit.

Blown Away by Carrie Underwood

Dry lightening cracks across the sky

Those storm clouds gather in her eyes

Daddy was a mean ole mister

Momma was an angel in the ground

The weatherman called for a twister

She prayed, blow it down

There's not enough rain in Oklahoma

To wash the sins out of that house

There's not enough wind in Oklahoma

To rip the nails out of the past

Shatter every window till it's all blown away

Every brick, every board, every slamming door flown away

Till there's nothing left standing, nothing left to yesterday

Every tear soaked, whiskey memory blown away

Blown away (Blown away)

She heard those sirens screaming out

Her daddy laid there passed out on the couch

She locked herself in the cellar

Listened to the screaming of the wind

Some people called it taking shelter

She called it sweet revenge

Shatter every window till it's all blown away

Every brick, every board, every slamming door flown away

TIll there's nothing left standing, nothing left to yesterday

Every tear soaked whiskey, memory blown away

Blown away

There's not enough rain in Oklahoma

To wash the sins out of that house

There's not enough wind in Oklahoma

To rip the nails out of the past

Shatter every window till it's all blown away

Every brick, every board, every slamming door flown away

Till there's nothing left standing, nothing left to yesterday

Every tear soaked, whiskey memory blown away

Blown away

Blown away

Blown away

Blown away

Blown away
