So all of our recent contests have been FAIL.

Any ideas for some new ones? Anything you'd like to see? I'd be willing to go out of my way to provide prizes to foster more competition

I'm willing to provide PHYSICAL prizes from http://www.thinkgeek.com/ and sponsor a contest if it's officially cool enough.

For example, a drawing contest that's cool:

Of course, it'll have to have more than a couple entries. xD

Speaking of which, do contests that EVERYONE can participate in, no matter what skills they have (such as that foot drawing one... I kinda regret not entering! ).

I still have a LONG-forgotten coloring contest that only a few people here entered, and my most recent pic is the same one, but scanned instead of snapping a pic of it. I think it's one of the contests that's lasted the longest without ending. lol I haven't decided on a new deadline yet, so keep those entries comin'!

By the way, I miss the JN caption contest. Anyone wanna revive it? We sure came up with some crazy entries back then, so why not now??

I believe we can have a JN Costume Contest, using traditional art digital art and bases!

Non-coloring drawing contests have traditionally been pretty failtacular here on IDOJ, mostly because the majority of members don't want to / can't draw.

The contests that have traditionally gotten the greatest number of entries are the e-doll contests, but I think we've exhausted the possibilities on that front. I've tried to initiate poetry and writing contests too, but those tend to peter out pretty quickly.

The problem is, I think we simply don't have enough people to make it exciting and competitive.

From what I've observed, the steeper the prizes, the more people will go to lengths to attain said prize. XD Kind of an obvious statement, but I'm sure if one of the prizes relates to a TOSOT-spoiler, or gives fun, open-ended art requests (such as your last contest, sans TOSOT-spoiler plus cash LOL). It SHOULD be something everyone is able to participate in, but the big question remains: WHAT.

I'll brainstorm today while I'm freaking about tests and homework.
