Ths is an experimental RP, with an unusual mechanic. Rather than creating a character in the story, you create an "actor" character. This actor character then creates characters for the story. The action of the story does not occur in real life, but as a stage version of real life-your actions thus must be things that can plausibly be done on this stage. Your characters may be nonhuman, but you need your actor to have a plausible way of "playing" them. You can make up what supplies the theatre has as you go along, but they must be something that might actually be in a theatre. All actions are done by representations of that action-to shoot another character, you don't actually shoot the actor, you merely have your actor's character use a replica gun with a gunshot sound effect. You also have some sort of control of the lighting and stage hand guys, unseen in the RP. The final complication is that your actor may actually play multiple characters (although at the beginning of the rp while we're getting used to it it is not reccomended).

My actor is John Richards. He is playing a character called Ben-his significance as of yet undetermined. The stage hands raise a blue cloudy sky background and a spotlight narrows on him, and music builds in the backgrounds.
"It was a really long time ago. Are you really sure you want to hear about it? Alright, here goes..." A drumroll comes from offstage, and the spot widens to illuminate the whole stage. Ben descends into a trapdoor surrounded by mist, as the now illuminated stage contains...

My actor is called Kate. She is the understudy of a character named Rita. Kate is usually a cellist in the orchestra pit, and this is her first time getting a chance at the lime light. Rita's actor is currently getting over a cold, and Kate is on standby to jump in should she be needed.

As Ben is descending the trap door, Kate begins to play a long, slow tune down in the orchestra pit.

My actor is named Izabell. She is a contemporary dancer, and although she is incredibly shy in person, the stage gives her a confidence she didn't know she possessed, enough to strut down stage and begin to dance. The music is slow, calm. She is The Wind Fairy, sending warm breezes through the air. In her own world now, she almost doesn't notice the actor who is coming on stage.

As The Wind Fairy dances on stage fluttering around a metallic forest, my actor Amy, literally stomps onto stage.

Set to play Chaos the harbinger of change, a role her mother jokingly told her was written specifically for her. Her character is loud, abrasive, and sometimes violent. Strikingly different from the dancer and atmosphere on stage her hair sticks up in small tufts of brightly colored spikes. Her thick boots collide with the floor, each step resounding with a cymbal crash from the orchestra pit.

She stops, stage left and turns to face the audience. Two spotlights train on the two characters. Amy's flickers on and off, as if lightning flashes around her.

Chaos: 'There was once peace in these woods, but now... They've come.'

She turns, walks across the stage to Izabell's character.

Chaos: 'They've come.'

She repeats the line in a stage whisper as though speaking to The Wind Fairy and pushes her to the floor. Job completed, she walks off stage.

Izabell always hated the part where she gets pushed to the floor, which thankfully is what the Wind Fairy hates too. She gets back up indignantly and begins to dance faster. From the sound booth, a strong breeze is synthesized on stage. But all at once, Izabell stops, leaving an eerie silence on stage. With a look of shock on her face, she plays out the Wind Fairy's terrible realization. For the first time in the play, she speaks.

"They've come..." she stage whispers, blowing her words as the Wind Fairy would. "Humans..."

Quickly, she flutters off stage.

My actors Bella and She's the "audience" that later comes on stage. At the moment she's in awe then snaps back to reality remebering her part was soon.
