If there was one episode of JN that never got made, but SHOULD have been made, what would it be about? What storyline, characterization, or topic was left unexplored, that you REALLY wish was addressed in the show?

Feel free to be as general or as specific as you like - anything from "an episode about Butch!" to "more about Sheen's family life" to "they did school play, class field trip, gameshow and spy movie parody...why the heck didn't they do an episode about mass amnesia, loss of self-identity and bow-tie shaped pasta?? I love that stuff!"

Go ahead and shaaaaaare thy thoughts

I have several ideas for this, actually.

1.) I always felt like there was an episode missing before "Lady Sings The News". The only reason I say this is because I feel like the JCness got rushed in that episode in order for the writers to make up for lost time, and I think some people will agree with this.

2.) I'd like to see maybe another episode with Betty in it as one of the main characters, merely for developmental reasons. She's not used enough in the episodes that we do see her in to really make a good judge of her character.

3.) Another parody episode/special of some kind. For some reason, the whole idea of an "American Idol" spin-off/parody TV movie strikes me as having the potential to be extremely funny, not to mention a great way to introduce new characters and further develop existing ones, including the ones we don't get to hear or see very often.

Definitely agreeing on another ep dedicated to Betty as a main character. Just to see her full persona on a normal basis beyond "prettiest girl in school", & if possible her family life, how she sees the main characters, just developing her up to main char status developmen-wise.

An episode fully detailing Cindy's (& maybe a little of Libby's) family life. I mean we got all 3 of the guys', so why not the girls + Betty? Only fair after all.

I would've liked a movie with the gorlocks showing a visit to their planet in a time of crises, or similar. Not nessacarily J/A, but I suppose it'd be inevitable. Nice switch for Cindy's jealousy instead of just ONLY at Betty, but rather any girl the guy's attracted to. Maybe then it'd be less of a problem for J/B fans on sites like ff.net if its was shown as more of a general thing, & more than the two girls had a decent, realistic chance at Jimmy's heart.

One or two more focusing on S/L, they barely got 3 or so total eps centering them, if that many.

Something with Sam Melnick as one of the central characters. Dunno why, but he was usually in my top ten after the main 6. ^_^

Remember the Chocolate Factory ep in HA when Helga and Harold got left behind at a chocolate factory from a field trip in their class? Well, the same could be said with the 5 gang members accidentally left behind at, say, the Purple Flurp factory while on another field trip with their class. That would give not only J/C a chance to be developed, but S/L as well, and if the owner of the factory had a cute 11-year-old daughter, that would also give Carl a chance at a relationship, if not just a crush.

I'd also like to see an ep where an invention of Jimmy's goes awry, and he and Cindy somehow swap intelligence levels but not minds, and that would give Cindy a chance to epically save the day. Why should only Jimmy get that kind of glory in that area?? It would also be funny to see Cindy try to get into the lab, but fail cuz of that "girl alarm" rigged on it(like in TF, only that was Jimmy in Cindy's body)!!

Most of my speculations have been turned into fanfiction ideas, so I've always wanted an episode about Mother's Day, which is why UltraMom got written.

I've also wanted to see more of April, and of course more of Elke.

Also...what if Ultralord WAS real?

The Girl-Eating Plant should have been the villain to an episode. Possibly one parodying Little Shop of Horrors.

It always irked me how Nick just got abandoned after the movie! An episode with him as one of the main characters!

Since people keep bringing up Hey Arnold, I feel like one thing JN never did was explore the relationship between characters who weren't being paired. For example, there was never an episode where Cindy and Sheen got thrown into a situation together and ended up learning more about one another, or an episode where Carl and Libby bonded over something.

Hey Arnold was always really good at that - exploring potential friendships between ALL the characters, like Harold and Helga, Helga and Big Patty, Sid and Arnold, etc.

LOL, actually, HA ended because of contractual issues with Craig Bartlett, not because of Spongebob. And, according to one of the animators I talked to on Deviantart, JN ended because the episodes were getting too expensive to make.

Spongebob doesn't cost as much to animate, and it sells WAY more merchandise, so of course it's stayed around while other shows have ended. It's ALWAYS about the money, you guys...

I always thought a Flash back episode would have been cute. They gang could be in Jimmy's lab, maybe cleaning it up or something. They starts thinking about everything they have been through.

3-Evil Jimmy returning

YES!

I second this. I love EJ. He's my favorite villain from the entire show. He's just so great. His voice kicks ass, he's got plenty of witty banter, and not to mention the fact that he's pretty much the only JN villain actually capable of realistically defeating Jimmy. He never does, of course, because the show is TV Y7, but still. The potential is there.

Plus I'm still a hopeless Evil Jimmy fangirl. :kawaii:

But aside from that, I think there should have been an episode where Cindy and Sheen have to get out of a situation without much help from the others. They'd be able to explore the relationship between them as friends. Plus they're my two favorite characters, so an episode about just them would be awesome.

Money makes the world go around so unless someone points out a way they could start the show again much much cheaper or there is a huge surge of interest that justifies starting it up again Jimmy neutron will just have to live on through the fans.

Unless some spoiled kid like eustace stritch buys the rights to Jimmy Neutron and forces it back into production.

Avatar the last Airbender got under advertised for the same reason while it ran :l

I want an episode on the back story of some of the adults in the series. How did Ms. Fowl come to be? I can think of maybe one episode that really placed her as an important character.

Also an episode with a villain thats actually scary. >.< Thats the one thing that bugged me about this series, the villains never really had much ground. They were never really all that evil, and were more or less overwhelmed by their stupidity.

More Libby and Sheen would be nice.

I'm going to bash together a thing of a lot of the ideas that were popular including my own one in with it!

Evil Jimmy traps Jimmy, Cindy, Sheen, Libby, Carl, and Elke in a purple-flurp factory and the three pairs grow closer, (well, if it was MY choise the pairings would be more weird than romantic, but I.m combinibg them so...) while Jimmy, the gang, and Elke are trapped, Evil Jimmy gets into people's private thoughts, AND THEN MAKES CHAOIS!!! There is only one person who can help them: GODDARD!!! But will anyone belive that Goddard can do it?

There, I just got:

1 Trapped at a purple flurp factory with pairings
2 More S/L
3 more Elke
4 Evil Jimmy returns!
5 you get to learn a little bit about other charecter's lives

And then my idea of how Goddard can have a more major role in it other than the episodes "Best in the Show" and "Billion Dollar Boy"...so what does anybody think?

Also, I typed this with a phone: that explains all of the spelling mistakes!

I've always been intrigued by the mysteriousness surrounding the Vortexes and Cindy's mom/her relationship.

I would also love to have actually seen the footsie in the library that was mentioned in LSTN
^I wish that episode had been expanded at least for a one hour finale.
