[Fire Pearl]

Hello, hello, IDOJ!

Well, you may be wondering who that random chick is, that comes posting here, so let me tell you hi, long time, no see, I'm Laura and I'm just passing by. Haven't been active for like a year (?), two years (?), (who the heck am I ?!) or so, but anyways... I recently got into JN fandomness again and then I reread TOSOT and it's all still so awesome that I couldn't help but draw something. I'm kind of on a JN-fanart drawing spree. I need tons of practise anyways.

So I woke up today all 'I need me some Aurora angst', but since you all draw the pretty fires so much better'n me (especially with that great contest Mara held on dA a couple of weeks ago) I went for this... kinda...well illustration I guess for a scene in Volume 1, chapter 8. (Hope it's alright I did that)





Cindy (well, at this point she strikes me rather Aurora-ish) in a deserted Retroville, after the Nanobots deleted everyone. I tried to pull off a kind of frozen, reserved kind of angsty expression, but damn me if I know if I succeeded.
So why am I showing you this? Well, I guess I thought I could let it sit on my PC forever or show it to other (pretty awesome) people who might perhaps enjoy it. Hope that's alright with you guys. Erm yeah. Let me know what you think, pretty please?

Besides, I really do miss browsing here. But... you know.

Second of all: AWESOMESAUCE! This picture is gorgeous. I really love her eyes especially. You captured so much emotion in them. The drawing is simply lovely.

Anyway, I guess not really back to stay. But what with summer vacation (finally!) and all that pretty useless time I have to myself before school starts again (which is like, in three freaking weeks!) I shall be lurking around, stalking y'all. (As I have before, actually. I was never really gone, y'know. I lived inside your heads. I lived all your dreams. Harhar.Most of them scarring me for life, but, you know.True, I swear.) And I may bother you with more crappy paintings of JN- lovelies. We'll see.

But, d'aww, it makes me happy you like this one.

Ya, I know and I tell myself the same thing. But well, thing is, (even though that sounds so ridiculous), it was always getting SO late ('Cause of different time zones and all that jazz) and the expectations in school rose ridiculously high when I got into 11th grade...and me being not exactly a genius in scientific matters but student at one of the most reknown mathematically scientifically specialized schools around here(thanks to my mother)...it got a little too much for me. Pathetic, I know.

There's more to it, too, but let's just say, my schedule is as packed as can be and well...I figured it'd be kind of stupid( and annoying for you) if I came in every third day said one word and left,sooo....

I mean... awww, darn. You can't stay. It looks like school has gotten tough for you over the year or two you've been away. No worries, though, Luara, it's perfectly understandable. Things like that in life just get in the way sometimes.

And second, dude, you have MAD drawing skills!!! Like really! You drew Aurora so awesomely! I love it!

It's still great to see you here again, though. We missed you alot.

the ways her eyes are emphasized over the grey background makes her seem much more brilliant

I love how much detail was put into her eyes, the color of them make them stand out, not to mention that her hair flowing adds to the affects. All in all, good job.
