This is a story from Three Kingdoms. Zhou Yu of Wu Kingdom was a strategist but he was narrow-minded and jealous of people smarter than him. So he had always been thinking of killing Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei of Shu Kingdom. One day， he invited Liu Bei to cross the river， while did not let Zhuge Liang-who was then staying in Wu for help-know about it.

Jimmy kind of reminds me of Dexter from Dexters Lab.
Both have giant ego's, both like making inventions, both get themselves into situations.
The only difference is, Jimmy has friends for sidekicks and Dexter has his older annoying sister for one.
I can't stand DeDee but some thing tells me Sheen might crush on her but find her annoying later

Libby kindof reminds me of Pheobe from the game Psychonauts, mainly because she's voiced by the same person, but also because they kinda talk the same and both love music.
Cindy is hard... there are alot of cartoons that have a similiar relationship to her and J/C although I havn't really seen any characters that are really very much like her.

As far as the not liking school and authority figures part, I can certainly see that. Though I don't remember Twister being nearly as crazy and manic. Or as funny.At times, Sheen reminds me of Twister from Rocket Power.

Kind of a long shot here, but Carl in some ways reminds me of Arnold Perlstein in the original Magic School Bus series. Both are scaredy-cats and both are redheads who wear glasses, and they both love to eat. However, Arnold doesn't have any allergies or medical problems(at least that I know of) while Carl does. Arnold isn't heavyset like Carl, either, and they don't share an interest in rocks... Arnold loves to study and get school work done, whereas Carl? Eh, not so much...

Carl reminds me of Chuckie from Rugrats - they are both cowards who wear glasses and have red hair and freckles. I used to think that the characters from Jimmy Neutron were grown-up versions of Rugrats -
Tommy seemed pretty smart and was a good leader and adventurer, so he reminded me of Jimmy.
Carl had the most resemblance to his counterpart (as I said above)
Sheen reminded me of Phil from Phil and Lil, the gross twins, as he can be very gross and likes to pressure Carl into going along with Jimmy's adventures as the twins did to Chuckie.
Cindy reminded me of Angelica - lol - not so much now that I like the former character.
And yes I am aware that there is a show where the Rugrats grow up but we don't talk about that. This is better.
