As you can see, she gets a new suit after the blue one. And she wears her hair in a bun.

Seriously though, holy crap! So many questions, so little brain power to process them...

Does this mean Aurora lives, and DJ's master plan for her destruction is foiled, or is it her dearly departed spirit, complete with afterlife red suit (Cause we all know she belongs to a cult or something)

Or...

Is this just a red herring, a tease, Trojan Horse, that DJ has cleverly crafted to keep us distracted so that the end of TOSOT leaves us gaping at our computer screens, saying, "What the nerd just happened?"

Well, to be honest, this will never happen in the story. I was just messing around, coming up with a design for what she *might* look like in 4 years. Strictly speculative.

Well, ya. That Aurora (well, aged 21, but close enough - same outfit and look) is the protagonist of TOSOT, after all, not the mysterious "4 years from now" Aurora who has no additional backstory.

I just did this for shits and giggles. I have no idea what happens after the end of the story.

But, in all honesty, this meme is REALLY good! I just love seeing the gradual changes she went through over the years, in dress, style, and and even her attitude. So cool.

Whoa, what up with this red suit, now? The blue one actually came off?! Aurora's natural body was fully exposed to the world for some point in time, even if just briefly? Where was Flank when this was happening?

I also love 15 year old Aurora. She's cute; and yes, I understand the crazy irony of calling a girl as tough, badass, warrior-like, and cold "cute". Can't help it though, she was just in her training stages anyway, right?


Great job, Mara! These are always so fun, and must be great art practice.

I just mostly love the new red suit, because it reminds of the end of Dr. Horrible when he changes from the white coat to the hot red one, lol.

Ya, I was thiiiiiiiiiiiis close to drawing her with her hair down, too. In hindsight, maybe I should have... but I just really liked the idea of putting her hair back in the same style she wore as the newscaster in lady sings the news. It seemed to bring things full circle somehow *shrug*

This is so awesome!!!!!!! I agree with whoever said she shouldn't have a bun, but I also love the "bringing it in a full circle" thing you said. This is just amazing!

I think the bun might look a little better if you made it more visible. Right now it looks like she cut off all of her hair except for the bangs, and that's kind of an awkward hairstyle.
