This is why we love you Pigquet. Your magpie rant is exactly why Pedro made you president. You ARE the biggest Pixar fan here.
And I most definitely agree with you about Wall-E. It's my favorite Pixar movie, and probably my favorite animated movie
ever. The animation simply spectacular, the robots are adorable, and the movie conveys emotion and a very strong message--all with so little dialogue.
I mean, look at that movie! Almost all of the dialogue comes from the humans, who don't appear until at least halfway into the movie. The robots can only say their names, each others' names, and a few key words such as plant, earth, directive.
I'm constantly blown away by the Define Dancing scene, when Wall-E and Eve are flying around the Axiom and the flames at the back, twirling around...and the journey from Earth to the Axiom, when Wall-E sticks his arm out to touch the rings of Saturn and the sparkling, glowing dust flows out behind him...the pan-out at the very end before the credit reel, when all the land is suddenly covered in grass and other plants. It's just amazing how much effort was put into animating this movie. I really can't believe it sometimes.
The message about protecting the environment is great too. You don't usually see that in animated movies. But there it is! Clean up your act, or you'll all be forced to live in space and get fat.
It's really hard to choose a favorite character from Wall-E, but if I had to choose, I'd probably say either Eve or the Captain. Eve because she's trigger-happy and has anger management issues, but is still willing to discard her directive when she realizes that she fell in love with Wall-E. The Captain because once he sees a few pictures of Earth on Computer, he becomes so driven and dedicated to get the passengers aboard the Axiom back to Earth. I love the scene where Auto shows the Captain why they can't return to Earth:
"Out there is our home. Home, Auto. And it's in trouble. I can't just sit here and...and do nothing. That's all I've ever done! That's all everyone on this blasted ship has ever done: Nothing!"
"On the Axiom, we will survive."
"I don't want to survive! I wanna live!"
GAHHH Totally awesome. I also love that three second scene where Wall-E is trying to decide where to put the spork. It's so cute how confused he is. And when he finds the engagement ring, throws it aside, and is fascinated by the box.

I could talk about Wall-E forever. That movie is just so awesome.
