I think that they would break up, but not necessarily permanently. I feel like they both have strong, A-type personalities which put a strain on their relationship. However, they would realize after breaking up and being with other people that they actually want to be together. Plus, it is very rare for a couple to never break up when getting together that young.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I always try to nail that aspect of their relationship in my fics, cuz hey, their relationship isn't picture perfect, cuz like people have said before in this topic, that would just make it boring... No offense to anyone who still ships J/B, but that would be just like that, perfect and boring... J/C, on the other hand, have a sort of spice between them that you can't get anywhere else with a JN pairing!

By the way guys the reason why they kissed and were holding hands in Lady Sings the News was prob a callback to Trading Faces when they imagined holding hands and kissing eachother on a country lane...given it's more of a city alley than a country lane, but still...
