Dunno about TLC (never watched it I don't think), but I've seen 'em on Suite Life of Zack & Cody. A beauty pagent came to the Tipton in a season 1 ep, & one of the girls didn't want to be in the pagent, dropped out running out of the room. The mother followed her screaming "where did I go wrong?! ;-;" x_x

Clearly not the exact same as Cindy's ordeal, but close enough to further make the point.

So yeah, I agree 100%. & like I said, anyone who's seen seasons 2 & 3 of KP should know Bonnie & Brick's rocky relationship, & if J/C stayed the true couple for those characters, I can just see that right now.

Yeah, I think they would break up eventually. Not necessarily permanently, because they are the only people we really see as capable of being on par with each other intellectually. They give each other challenges and opportunities for competition, and Jimmy and Cindy love competing and being challenged. But like Katie and Pigquet said, they're only eleven years old  You don't generally commit to a person for life when you're eleven.

I also don't see them as "together" yet. That's why if I write JC, I tend to write it when they're older, like late teens. They're not mature enough to try anything serious out yet. The occasional fluffy oneshot with them being the age they are in the show is ok, as long as it's just one of those random romantic moments that doesn't end with a relationship. Because they wouldn't do that.

I don't think the two would even attempt a relationship until their mid-teens, at the earliest. They'd probably break up before or during college, unless they went to the same school for some reason, and after a while, they'd probably get back together. But they'd most likely have other boyfriends/girlfriends during their time apart, because that's what people generally do. And after seeing some other options for dating, they'd realize that those peeps are boring, and go back for another try at a relationship. That's how I see it.

Wow, we have a tie.

Anyway, when I meant TLC, it's the channel. They have a show called Toddlers in Tiaras. That show made me think about Cindy and her mom, minus the child pageant stuff.

I think my theory also applies to Cindy and Jimmy as teens or in college.

I don't think Cindy would go insane due to her mother, especially considering when she turns into a teenanger( which are known to be rebels against parents)

and besides Libby is there to always be her voice of reason and support here
also Cindy is only competitive when it comes to Jimmy, if does two were together the rivalry would be more friendly then full out war.

I do think Jimmy and Cindy will be together not perfect because, nothing is perfect and there might be a few break ups but in the end it will make their relationship stronger

Also Hi, Im somewhat of a new member here at idreamofjimmy and this is my first time speaking on the boards

Welcome to the board.

I think as Cindy ages she will become more mature, and I honesly don't think she will become abusive toward Jimmy. I mean she is only ten for goodness sakes. That doesn't mean she will be that way when she is older.

I think Jimmy, and Cindy will be together, but I don't think everything will be perfect, because thats way to boring! I think they will have their arguements, and they will break up, but at the end they will relieze that they need each other.

I think that they're 11, and the show's canceled, so we'll never really know. All we have is speculation and thus fanfic was born.

I wasn't really pointing that out. I was just trying to say. They're eleven. Nobody is the same person that they were when they were eleven. We grow and change constantly. Whether or not Jimmy and Cindy grow and mature to be compatible is complete speculation, but I would like to point out that the two of them will have childhoods unlike any other person, so finding a person with as wacky of a childhood who could cope with some of the weirder stuff that they've been through would be hard.

Realistically, the odds of staying with the guy/girl you crush on at 10 is ....just so incredibly unlikely. So yes, I think they will break up at some point. To me, the question isn't 'will they break up', but 'will they get back together?'. I think it would all come down to whether they go to college at the same place or not. If they do, I think they'd end up together permanently, but if they're apart, it'd be easier for them both to find other people of their intelligence levels. Sometimes, even though I do love the pairing, it did sort of feel that the only thing the two had in common were being the smartest kids in school. But then, if they went to college together, there could be some resentment on Cindy's part if Jimmy continues to overachieve and she feels threatened by it (but then, I'm sure she'd end up in a different field)...

Hmm. And now I'm thinking way too much about this....Suffice it to say, that since it is a children's cartoon, had they gone into the TRUE future, I'm sure they would be married in it, but only because that's how it works in cartoon land. Once together, almost always together in the end (at least, in children's cartoons. Break ups just aren't common in kid's shows, nor do they really need to be).

Cartoon show or not, Does everything have to be a breakup! *Sheesh* almost every JN fanfiction I've read it's about "Jimmy and Cindy get back together after a breakup!" BIG SUPRISE! Almost everyone writes about that! Does nobody think they'll be together WITHOUT breakup'. The people at nick Intended that it would be a Love/Hate relationship to a All Love/All the Time Relationship! A squabble here and there yes, but hey who dosen't. Just because they fight when their younger does not mean doomsday when ther teenagers! *Deep Groan* The only story that i've read where it was Happy and without break-up,(which in my opinion was great) was "All's Science Fair in Love and War" That story was well written, In character And it wasn't so darn depressing! It's on Fanfiction.net

Well, you right, Tiffany. I DON'T want them to break up, but I'm not the one to decide their future, am I? They're one of the cutest couples I've seen. But every relationships have a few ups and downs. They may have a big argument and avoid each other for a while but NOT break up. That's just my imagination, anyway.

I guess they would have their difference's (Of Course.) It's just getting on my nerves wher I read post 's and people are constantly talking about Jimmy and Cindy breaking up. It just dosn't strike me as something they would do. Come on, Cindy loves that brainy little boy and Visa-versa. It's hinted throughout the whole series! I just can't see them spliting up.:catfight:
Together4Ever!!! :xmasjoy:

Beside's... Would either of them want to fight <_<

every coupe does through their hard times, and no offense but i thinka couple that is mushy, and kissy all the time is plain boring. We wont truly know if they are a strong couple, unless they go through some tough times. I love Jimmy, and Cindy with a passion, but the strongest of couples went through their share of bad times, and it only made them stronger. My favorite couple Nathan and Haley from one tree hill remind me so much of Jimmy and Cindy. They come from completly diffrent worlds, but fell in love with each other, and got married. It wasn't always easy, and they didn't didn't always make the right choice, but in the end they were there for each other, and they helped each other with their dreams, and they had a son. Thats how I picture it with Jimmy, and Cindy. (Instead they have a daughter lol) If they truly love each other, then they will be able to face whatever lies ahead of them.

And I agree with you on that. Love's not always easy and yes there will be dangers ahead. And I like to see it at as "By one another's side" and not have to be callous toward eachother. And if they are having problems with their relationship, Yes I would like to see them together in the end. I don't want lesson's to go to waste. I like that opion that you made.
