i would like to do a jmv themed contest. I'll make a video telling the rules on yotube for this contest soon., but i'll tell all of you guys on idoj on what the contest is going to be about first. once i do make a video telling the rules for non-idojers then you could post your video as a respoce to the vid. also what prizes do you think i should give to the winner. I know that i'm going to give them free subs for sure depending what place they want.

here are the rules that i was planning ofr the contest(what do you think?):
1.videos must be jn themed of course!
2.Make a video idea no one has made before
3.one video entry per person
4.make it either couples, singles, love triange,charcter bashing, or break-up themed
5.if you are doing couples, no slash please, and do a mv on a couple that doesn't have to many mvs on. don't make a vid that only focuses on j/c since too many vids are made on them. the only way i'll accept a j/c vid if it also has other couples in it also.
6.crack couples that i'll ok with in vids: sheen/cindy,libby/nick,bolbi/cindy,cindy/nick,jimmy/brittany,betty/sheen, cindy/carl,carl/libby,carl/betty,sally/sheen,sally/carl, cindy/butch,cindy/ike, libby/ike,ms.fowl/thomas edison, and brittany/ike
7.unacceptable crack pairngs:carl/judy,hugh/cindy, and cindy/goddard
8.if there's a crack pairing i didn't mention in the acceptable list or unacceptable list tell me and I'll tell you if i'll accept it or not
9.songs with some cursing is ok, but any vid with a song that has cursing in every sentence or is r or x rated won't be accepted.
10.have fun!

Ooh, I may enter this depending on the timeline, as I'll have a good jump start with my 3 day weekend coming up.

Before I start planning, what programs are allowed? I'm wondering because some people may see it as unfair to have a multi-program usage in a contest with ones such as Sony Vegas & Windows Movie Maker, & their Mac counterparts. Just out of curiousity, as I hope to make this my first SV-created J/B vid, & see how I do alongside the more experienced SV owners here.

Sorry, but this vid I'm making is SHEER j/c, but it uses a song no one here's used before! Also, it's my first, so cut me some slack, okay???!! I'll letcha know when it's done, k? Currently almost finished.

But if I can't get the hang of SV well enough, don't expect anything from me as anything I do with movie maker concerning J/B will feel like my earlier MVs, so yeah I'll let ya know after I see what I come up with.

ok, i can't wait to see your video Stacy! it will be cool to see a j/b video made with sv. Important:i didn't put betty/ike on the crack couples i accept or don't accept list since list since i don't think they are a crack couple.

There's not enough space on my laptop for another saved ep for my mv, which I need to put the final touches on it. My computer's really old; I got it in 2007, so it's got a LOT of data saved on it. My stories, games, pics, a few eps, and a bunch of background files... There's hardly any room left. That's why I'm looking at getting an external hard drive from Best Buy. There's not enough space on my flash drive to put all my data on it... I'll save all my stuff on IT, then replace my computer, since it's so old. I think that's why the sound on it doesn't match up with the video for the eps. The sound's all crackley/jittery and all that when I try to listen to music. That's why I'm eventually replacing it. That thing never got internet, anyways...

a two year old computer isn't that old. the computer that i had before the one i'm currently using, was 6 years old until last christmas when my dad bought a new one and threw that one away

Ok before you all rip my head of let me explain! Its not a pairing video! Its more like a father/ daughter video. In the video Cindy is going to be Hugh's daughter.

Can it be a while? Like until the end of November maybe? I'm working on another mv at the moment, but I'd like to try this contest. I've got an idea that would be fun to do, but a little difficult as well, so I may need a lot of time.
