Prequel idea!
Harry is introduced to the wizarding world. But even on his first year, plenty of trouble starts. There are basilisk attacks from the mythical "chamber of secrets" at the same time as the serial killer "Sirius Black" is on the loose. The Ministry of Magic tries to fix the situation by sending in Professor Umbridge to replace Remus Lupin (a known werewolf). Finally, the castle is being attacked by evil flying Twilight fans.

Oh god, wasn't it bad enough when they sparkled? Now they can fly, too?!

On topic, that sounds like an awesome idea.

Also, the third act consists of the Trio fixing their problems in the following way:
Harry goes through the Chamber of Secrets to fight the Basilisk. After barely surviving due to a series of contrived events, Harry chases after the basilisk, who runs away through a small tunnel. This tunnel leads to the obstacle course from Book One, which Harry defeats. At the end, he finds Sirius Black, who explains his innocence. He is then sent to retrieve the One Ring from the center of an underwater hedgemaze. After getting it, he ties it to an orbital sattelite and thus destroys the basilisk. Hermione then remembers the fact that she has a time-turner ("Oops, I wonder how many times THAT could have been helpful...") and they go back in time, causing the contrived events that allow Harry to survive the basilisk. They then defeat the army of Twilighters by using the Time-Turner to create loads of copies of themselves all at the same time, and then just easily destroy them all.

Professor Lockhart also makes an appearance somewhere.

Would we really want to taint Harry Potter with Twilight though?

And thus I present "Totally Awesome-Sped Up". It may be incoherent at points but if you've seen the musical you know exactly what's going on. I plan to do more of these with other songs.

OMG John that was amazing.

I laughed so hard.

Dumbledore's sped up voice is adorable.

My favorite sped-up line was "GOD, Hermione, why do you have to be such a buzz-kill?". I have no idea why that particular line amused me so much sped up.

The chorus was so much fun this way. And Ginny was so high-pitched it was almost painful, haha.

THAT...was win. A trillion WIN-points. Fo srs.

I was totally grooving out in my room to this. I'm surprised my sister didn't come in and see what was going on.

I loved how whenever the audience laughed, it sounded like chipmunks chattering. Especially in the beginning.

And Ginny was so high-pitched it was almost painful, haha.

She was! Oh god, her voice in this hurt my ears.

And Goyle was freakin' amazing. As always.

I dare anyone to listen to this and try not to laugh. It's impossible.

I watched this, attempting to keep a straight face the entire time through. I didn't make it through the first 30 seconds.

Thanks, guys! New one:Try "Different As Two Can Be" sped up. Actual music doesn't start until about two minutes.
Note:At first I'm only doing the ones with explicitly "musical" numbers in them, THEN I'll do the parts without any music.
