i think a nick/bettty pairing would be interesting. they are both calm, and are both outgoing. i don't know why people write fanfics of making nick gay,but this gets on my nerves since i know nick isn't gay. i don't like slash, especially when they make straight charcters gay.

A metrosexual is a man who is meticulous about his appearance. He is always in fashion and very well groomed. Some people mistake a metrosexual for a gay guy.
are you trying to say that nick is meticulous about his appearance? if that's what your trying to say, then the word bi isn't right word for getting your point across.

Wow, this topic quickly morphed from talking about getaway pairings to discussing whether the male characters on the show were straight or not, Nick in particular. My opinion on most of the guys hasn't changed to this day, that is, except for Principal Willoughby... After all the clues about him on the show about him I remember seeing, there's no doubt in my mind that he probably is gay; remember all the costumes he said he did as a kid?? Still pretty strange to me, though...

I think it's so funny how flamboyant they made Principal Willloughby. And when he said he dressed as Michelangelo's David, wouldn't that just be him naked? LMAO. That joke flew over my head when I was younger.
As for getaway pairings, I never knew that was an actual thing but seems like in fan fics that happens to Carl a lot.

Yeah, it flew over mine, too, when I first heard it, but after rewatching the ep years later, it finally dawned on me that that's how he must've looked at the time, and for Halloween of all times!
Kinda makes you wonder what people thought of him doing that at the time...

I don't care for them either. It is kinda hard to care about a pairing that only exists for that reason.

Jeez, tell me about it, like with Nick and Betty being paired up only cuz there's already J/C, S/L, and C/E... That's not how I ship them; I ship Nick/Betty cuz they both love acting and drama, and both seem to have a flair for the dramatic. For example, Nick always goes crazy when people touch or try to touch his hair, and he screams like a girl when he's hurt or scared 
; with Betty, she seemed to come onto Jimmy pretty strongly when she tried for a second time to get him to watch the Happy Show Show with her despite being hypnotized, and she was also pretty dramatic in Vanishing Act when she'd had enough of Jimmy and Cindy's bickering and pulled Cindy aside to tell her she could have him. 
That's a much better reason to ship them than it being the only available ship after the main three...
