The Sponge...has got to go (if they want some money, they might make a good spin-off with everybody's favorite starfish and see where it will go)
I'm getting tired of turning on nick and hearing "WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPPLE UNDER THE SEA!" After the 444,426,762,123,456,789,9385'th time seeing it, I've gotten bored.
The new episodes are pretty LAME! I mean, the one where SB saves all of his stupid trash because they have "Sentamental Value." He is doing his ussual, overly-sensetive self. What happened to the good ol' episodes thay had had since movie (which I really liked)...the episodes like: "Sandy's Rocket", "SpongeBob Meets The Strangelar," and "I was a Teenage Gary"
So...I think the Sponge did have some affect of The Boy Genius who could kick the new Sponge's a**. The old one...the old Sponge is pretty awesome. So was the old Patrick....

I don't know about this. But hey, knowing most programming today, it probably would do really well, and just not be for my personal taste. I tend to not do well with characters who are...retarded.The Sponge...has got to go (if they want some money, they might make a good spin-off with everybody's favorite starfish and see where it will go)
For example, I hate Homer Simpson.
So I don't know if I could tolerate a show surrounding Patrick either. I think all the characters have run their course.
WIN! This comment reminds me so much of when Krista said:I'm getting tired of turning on Nick and hearing "WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPPLE UNDER THE SEA!" After the 444,426,762,123,456,789,9385'th time seeing it, I've gotten bored.
"I'm not going to lie: I thought today would be absolute shit. Waking up after a less than enjoyable dream to the TV blaring THIS IS THE SUIIIITE LIFE at around 5:30 a.m. is not exactly my idea of a perfect morning."
I guess I have a thing for the mockery of retired theme songs.

Spongebob was my absolute favorite show on Nick when I was a kid. It was that followed by FOP, then Danny Phantom. However, I have not watched that show in years. It has to have been at least ten years since I last watched it. I lost interest in it completely. The old episodes before the first movie were classic. They were funny. I even liked some of the episodes afterwards, but after a while, they weren't funny at all anymore and I found myself losing interest in the show. I never even bothered to watch any of the other movies. In fact, I don't even think I could go back and watch that show even if I wanted to. Like JN, a show I use to love, a show that used to be my favorite cartoon completely, has lost it's interest from me completely. I don't want to watch it ever again. I just grew out of cartoons in general, except Danny Phantom and My Life As a Teenage Robot, those are the only two shows from my childhood I will always love. And other shows like Hey Arnold and Doug. So, yes, the show should end. It's been on for twenty plus years. I think it's long overdue for a series finale.

They spoke too soon when this topic started. Back then the show was still half-decent. In my opinion it wasn't until halfway through season 6 that the show got tired, and even then, there were still some decent episodes (season 9 was particularly good). But for the last half a decade it's been on a downwards slope. The spin-offs were the point of no return.
I have written reviews on almost all of the episodes, but it's getting harder to do the new ones because they're so darn boring.
To JimmyxxCindy4EVER, I know a lot of millennials picture the whole post-movie thing as this violent betrayal and so they don't like anything after that but, while Hillenburg was worried the show would jump the shark if that happened, he still was given the choice to veto episodes in the scripting stage to prevent that from happening. Since he died, though, he can't even do that.
