Ok, well there's a bit of an explanation for this one.

I'm reading this book that's a retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses, and I started thinking about it, and Katie's Season Four Episode Two, Cindyrella.

And I got this idea of rewriting various fairy tales using the JN characters.

And they would all be modern interpretations, so Jimmy will have science and there might be references to aliens or various scientific things, but it will still have the same plot as the fairy tales.

Right now I've got nine tales I want to rewrite, but I may add or remove tales, it depends on if I feel I've got enough ideas to make a full rewrite.

This is the list of fairy tales I've thought about redoing with JN (* means they're definitely being done)

*Snow White
*The Twelve Dancing Princesses
The Little Mermaid
Beauty and the Beast
Rapunzel
Aladdin
Sleeping Beauty
*Pinocchio
*The Emperor's New Clothes

I obviously can't do Cinderella because Katie took care of that in episode two.

So, what do you guys think? Would you like to read JN versions of all the fairy tales you learned as kids?

I think that would be a lot of fun, Mary. When I first started Cindyrella, I was actually going to make it a mish-mash of a bunch of fairy tales, but then realized it worked a lot better just as one. So yeah, I can definitely see how JN could fit into such stories!

I can't wait to see what you come up with. ^_^

I don't know the whole Anastasia legend, but I learned a little about the Romanovs (spelling?) last year in English.

I'll consider it. But I'm not sure how well I'll be able to pull that one off with JN, though.

Its ok,I understand if you can't do it. I'll be happy with which ever Fairytale you pick.

I've planned out three of the four starred tales so far, and I think that Pinocchio will be the first one I do. Mostly because it has no pairings and I've got some lulz planned for that one.

Feel free to suggest any and all fairy tales you enjoy. I'll do as many as I can come up with a story for.

Do you think I might be able to pull of a Tarzan?

I dunno how I never saw this topic, first of all... Secondly, I have no idea if Mary has any plans to go back to this, or if she even still wants to, even... But if so, I know the story of The Emperor's New Clothes, and it would be even FUNNIER to read a JN rendition of it(considering a slight similarity to it is in the ep JG2C LMAO)!!! I would still understand if Mary doesn't want to do this anymore, since she has a family now and all... But hey, a girl can dream, can't she??

Yeah, I don't think I'm ever going to get around to this. I'm not particularly interested in writing JN fanfic these days. If you want to write a take on The Emperor's New Clothes, Emily, go ahead. Or any other tale, really. You have my blessing.

I was just being hypothetical, mostly... That would be hilarious, though, you gotta admit, especially if it was Sheen that it happened to! If I think of a way to write that sometime, I know I definitely will! I just have other fanfics that I'm still trying to work on updating, though I have NO earthly idea when they'll be finished(working on the 45th chapter for one of them, and the 11th chapter for another, plus two sequels to two of my oneshots that are in progress... )... But they will be finished someday, cuz I nowadays never leave any fanfic unfinished, even if it takes YEARS on end...

Well, I mean, the whole thing is basically hypothetical. Although, tbh, fairy tales are  a concept that I've tossed around too! :-)

If you wrote one based on a fairy tale, Katie, I'd definitely read it! Especially based on The Little Mermaid or The Emperor's New Clothes! I'd hope the mermaid one would be more based on the Disney movie plotline and not the one by Hans Christian Andersen(that one ends on a depressing note )... The other one would just be hilarious!!
