Weeellllllll... (and this isn't in any order):
I love the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy.
Also
Lord of the Rings
Chronicles of Narnia (c'mon, I grew up reading those books!! Yay!)
And, of course, basically every movie based on a Jane Austen book in existence. Pride and Prejudice is probably my favorite (A&E version, thankyouverymuch) but the others are awesome too. Pride and Prejudice, though, has all that brilliant comedy. I loooove Mr. Bennett and his awesome sarcasm, and Elizabeth, always teasing everyone...haha, wow, I'm actually a lot like her... In that respect, anyway.
But according to the random quiz I took one day, I'm Fanny Price from Mansfield Park, lol. Ummm...OK... I didn't enjoy that book nearly as much as some of the others, but when I watch the one movie version I have of it I can sympathize with her. Especially lately, haha. But, I'm done rambling now. Sorry. :P
...There are a lot of movies I love, but those are some of my all-time favs. Obviously, Disney movies are always great, too. ^_^

Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Lion King
The Lion King 2

I part with a quote from Zoolander
"Do you realize that the world does not revolve around you and your do whatever it takes, ruin as many people's lives just so long as you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose, or people you leave dead and bloody along the way, just so long as you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose, or people you leave dead and bloody and dying along the way?"

I love reading, writing, and watching movies with violence in them. Especially if they have murder. I'm a sucker for a good murder story. And plus, the murders in Sweeney Todd were so obviously fake, I couldn't help laughing at most of them. Especially the ones that take place during "Johanna II." I mean, who murders people while singing about their daughter and how much they miss her? Epically awesome. When I first saw Sweeney Todd I hated it. I didn't like the fact that Sweeney Todd killed people. I usually don't watch movies with people getting killed in them.
But when I watched it a second time, I realized how much I love this movie.
Thinking about the movie made my obsession creep up on me again. My signature has quotes from ST now, and my avatar is Sweeney, and my status thingy under my avatar is a ST quote.
For some reason, I absolutely adore when Sweeney sings "Is that squire on the fire?" in "I Little Priest" (my favorite song). I don't know why, but it's just so awesome sounding. I love it.

I love that story to bits.
Plus, angst just comes to naturally to me. I love writing about people in emotional pain, and how people differ in their response to it, and their painful journey and whatnot. It's just what I do. I write either angst or humor. Though, if I ever get published, which I really hope I do, I want to try to publish a parody of angst. It'd be pretty hard, but incredibly fun, to combine my two favorite genres in one story. I already know the main character is going to be an overly emo and angsty teenage boy named Dark McGloom (although I'm thinking of changing it to something like Darth Sith, or some other ridiculous name based on Star Wars).

Hehehe...an angst parody would be seriously epic. :thumbsup:I know, right? I just handed in a short story for English that had assisted suicide in it, complete with two versions of the memory of the "murder."

...And yeah. I tend to make my villains all violent...committing murders left and right...lol.

^^ Violence is awesome in a story if commited by totally tragic and melancholic characters. I love it when the murderer is still a human...an inhuman acting person, but with the glimmer of humanity inside still left. I'm rather not the one for the whole black-white, evil-brutal vs. justice thingie ^_^
