[Kaytron]

Hi guys, I am writing the (very short and not nearly as magnificent as other NK origins) story of I Kaytron the Cyborg.
Hope you guys like it. I might be ok at drawing but I'm not so confident in my writing skills, if it gets boring, fogive me.
It's written in three parts. I'll post one per day.

Part One

I cannot lie. Life is—was tough on me. I once lived in the town of IDOJstershire. There was trouble with the war. One or more people from every family had vounteered to aid the Neutron Knights. That's how I became an orphan. An only child, 7 years old, an orphan. My name was... I don't remember. It stings, to not know my own name. I know it started with “Ke” but I forgot a lot. The enemies arrived when I was 9. The small town of IDOJstershire was in flames. The Neutron Knights came. I stared at them in awe. In the lead, Queen Mara on her valiant Florgus. As she passed me, she looked down at me and smiled. Then she became serious. She looked at me in the eye and said:
“Go kid. You'll be safer up north. The Neutron Knights will help you.” She went on forward along with the Knights close behind. They clashed with the enemy, swords banging, guns firing, lasers shooting. I ran in the direction that the Queen pointed. But while going through the village, flames stuck to me. I ran, burning.
I felt the sting.
The blood stained sword removed itself from my back.
Last I saw was the atom symbol painted on a Florgus leg. As it neared closer to me.

This is good so far, and I don't want to sound like an elitist prig, but according to the new rules, would it be possible to tone your powers down just a little? You can still be a cyborg (that's so cool!) but we are based on medieval knights, not superheroes. We should all have equal(ish) powers and fighting abilities.

Ok

Part two.

I woke up with a start. Looking to my left I saw a young woman with a rat on her shoulders. She turned to me.
“You're awake.” The lady exclaimed.
Still confused and trying to take in my surroundings, I answered “I... who... where am I?”
“You're in the Neutron Knights Castle. You suffered an injury, stab in the back.” She smiled. “You also suffered severe burns. It wasn't easy to fix but Isaac helped.”
She gestured to my body. I looked down and held my breath. My body was interwoven with circuits and metal bits welded into my skin. “How...”I started
“You will not know this but I have been told to inform you when you awake that you will be part of the Neutron Knights once her Majesty knights you.”
“Why?”
“Well you might find yourself with new abilities. They're not super cool abilities, just, you know, you can run just slightly faster than a normal person and you don't have to carry a laser gun, it's been built into your body. That's all you got.” The lady smiled. “By the way, I'm Rat Lady.”
“How did I get my abilities?”
Rat Lady sighed. “Isaac can never resist to add extras to any project he makes or anything he repairs. So he added those extras to you.”
“Oh.” I leaned back in my bed. “How long have I been unconscious? A week?”
“Uh...” The Rat Lady shuffled from foot to foot. “Well, try 208 weeks.”
“I'm thirteen?” I shouted.
“The boost Isaac gave to your IQ sure worked.” said Rat Lady. “Oh yeah! He also boosted your IQ... you shouldn't have any side effects from the operation but it is possible.”
“I'm a teenager.” I closed my eyes and groaned.
“Hey.” Rat Lady looked at me. “Being a teen ain't that bad. You get to go out to battle, you get to fire lasers, you get to do a lot of stuff you wouldn't get to do if you weren't a teen”
“Whatever.”
“People in their early teens are also very moody. Come with me.” She gestured for me to follow her. “We'll be meeting the Queen shortly.”
I got up and surprisingly managed to walk normally after being in bed for so long.
“You're the second new member that has joined the Knights this week.” Rat Lady stroked the rat on her shoulder.
“Am I? Who's the first?”
Rat Lady turned to me. “Lady Gwendolyn.”
Memories filled my head at the sound of that name. “My neighbour?” I stared at Rat Lady. “The one who ran away from home, two years before the battle in our town?”
“That Lady Gwendolyn.” Rat Lady continued walking to the throne room. “You'll get some training in sword combat by a few tutor around the castle and some learning will also be from Isaac. Since he was the one who designed your powers.”
“Why does a guy have to tutor me.” I pouted.
“Chill out.” Rat Lady gave a small snort. “Just be glad you're not getting tutored from Sir Grant.”
“Sir Grant.” I mumbled.
We went up and down various stairs until we reached a ridiculously large door.
“Here we are.” Rat Lady shrugged.
Inside, the walls were decorated with images of the Lord James, Mistress Aurora, Sir Carlton, Master Sheen and Lady Liberty. And there were also other images of people such as the Lord's parents, his robotic brother, his faithful best friend and the Gorlock. Inside the room was a black haired woman, wearing a black coat over a red skin-tight suit and another blonde woman sitting on the throne. She leaned forward on her chair and yelled into the phone.
“For the LAST TIME, Krista! We do NOT have any boys in this castle.” Queen Mara shouted. “And please stop calling me! This is the fifteenth time you've called me today.”
Mara closed the phone and turn to face me. “Now.” She heaved a big sigh. “What do we have here?”
“We don't have boys?” I asked in utter confusion. “Then are those boy looking people just a bunch of girls gone wrong?”
“I'm going to have a word with Isaac about your IQ.” Mara rubbed her forehead. “We do have boys here, it's just that Krista isn't allowed to know.”
“Oh.” I smiled. “Fine with me then.”
“Now,” Queen Mara picked up an emerald encrusted sword. “What's your name kiddo and where do you come from?”
“I come from IDOJstershire and my name's...” I stopped. “I... I... don't remember.” I was shocked. I couldn't remember my own name? All of a sudden I had this aching feeling in my heart.
“You don't remember your own name?” Mara asked.
“N-no.” I stammered. “Except that my name started with a 'K'.”
“Okay.” Mara stopped to think. “How about... let's see you are part robot... Kaytron!”
“Er... okay.” I shrugged.
Mara cleared her throat as she raised the sword. “Do you Kaytron of IDOJstershire, hereby promise to uphold the truth and benevolence of knighthood, promise to always fight for justice and for the greater good of the kingdom of Neutronia and the planet of Retroland? All these things you solemnly swear, so help you God.?”
“Uhhh.... I....do?” I answered, to tell the truth, I had no idea what she just said. But I did find out the meaning after thinking about it for a while.
“Great!” Mara smiled. She rested the sword on each of my shoulders. “Welcome to the club. Now, who wants lunch? You have to meet Spike, Shok, Princess Alexis, Lady Elise...”


That was the second last bit. Not too exciting I know, I can't think of an adventure for me at the moment sooo.... tell me what you think and I'll make changes to my history if it's not following the "guidelines" ^_^

Here it is! I managed to get hold of the story.

Final bit and Part 3

It's been two weeks since I was knighted. I learned how to control my speed and laser abilities. I'm not so good with sword handling but I'm improving. I think my tutors are getting a bit stressed out with my progress... Oh well. Life goes on. I found myself a hobby and I now help build Flankers and other machinery.
I've made a few friends. Okay, a lot of very good friends. Mara's not all serious as a Queen should be. She's more relaxed and layed back. She's quite cool.
I've learned stories of when the Lord James turned evil and took over the universe and how his alternate younger self along with his friends conquered him and helped him become good again. I don't know how that works. Apparently, Mistress Aurora and all his friends had tried to kill him. Well, they didn't, Sir Carlton became the Succesful Lord of Llamas, Master Sheen became the Lord of Sucrose and Action Cartoons, Lady Libery became the Lady of Music and Master Sheen's wife, Lord James became the kind King of Neutronia and Mistress Aurora, who wanted to kill him so, became the Lady of Beauty and the wife of the King, Queen of Neutronia.
It's all crazy, true, history.
And with luck, I'll also be able to create a strong mark in the powerful history of the beautiful kingdom of Neutronia.
