I'll try to keep an even balance between this one and GB with regards to updates.
WARNING: This fanfic contains some blood (but it's very minimal) and violence (if you call kicking and scratching violence). Reader discretion is advised.
Prologue
"Oh, no."
I clapped my hands over my mouth and restrained the urge to lunge to Jimmy's side.
He placed two fingers alongside his neck, like he was feeling his pulse. But when he took them away, the tips were crimson with blood. Jimmy looked at me in disbelief. His expression betrayed his thoughts: How could you, Cindy? How could you?
He collapsed a couple seconds later to the lab floor, and I watched in horror as his skin paled all over.
It's gonna be okay, Cindy. He lost a little blood; that's why he's pale. You probably didn't do anything. I told myself.
But I was lying. I knew I was lying.
Jimmy's hair started darkening in color, and his skin grew even paler.
That's nothing. I crawled over to his side and placed a hand on his chest to check for a heartbeat.
Jimmy's eyes opened partially, and I saw his irises slowly change from blue to liquid gold.
That was it. That was the final sign.
That and the fact that he'd lost his heartbeat.
Jimmy was now a vampire.

I thought it was really good, too, but it was from 2008 so I think that's all we get.
Gah, that opening is amazing!! Too bad she never got around to writing more of it; it had me on the edge of my seat, metaphorically speaking!

I might just write something like this sometime, starting with a premise close to this! Count on it!
You totally could!
