So, now that Chica's *gasp* :o got a life, and Snazzo's left for good, I thought I'd take it upon myself to reserect the Fanfic Challenge, by hosting it myself! ^_^

The "new and improved" part is that now you have TWO months to complete your one-shot, which will hopefully keep people from not doing one cause they don't have time.

I'll give you this bi-montly challenge a day early, so you can get crakin'!

I'm recyclying a prompt from a previous month that no one did. Write a oneshot that centers around the Candy Bar.

How long are you expecting this to be? I'm currently working on my own Sheen-centric idea, but I could probably squeeze out a Bolbi oneshot. I know it's gotta be 5+ pages, but are you expecting a full-length fic? 'Cause I don't think I could do that...a short story maybe, but nothing full-length at this point in time. I'm not in-tune enough with my Bolbi interpretations.

It's just a oneshot, and it doesn't matter to me how long it is, so long as it's finished my the end of the bi-month. It could be one chapter, which is the norm, or you can do a few segments, as long as its within the time limit. Two months is a long time. ^_^

Ok then. As soon as I can, I'll get started on a Bolbi fic.

Bolbi: Bolbi worship giant space rock. Bolbi spiritual.

Oh, and one more thing: If for some reason you don't meet the deadline, that shouldn't stop you from finishing the oneshot. Think of the challenge as a writing prompt. I'm just giving you the inspiration to write a fanfic that you can post whenever. ^_^

I'm entertaining a semi-oneshot idea. I was watching Fundemonium yesterday, and I was thinking, "How does Bolbi feel about being ditched by Carl and Sheen after only a week of being their friend?"

I think this weekend, when I have some free time, I'll see if I can make anything of it. Who knows, it may get farther than that. But it certainly won't take priority over the one I'm already working on...

Actually, it's the simple fact that I'm SWAMPED with two fics (and my NK fic) as it is. D: And I want to get back to my original fiction...but dang it all if work and school aren't out to get me now, so writing anything is getting harder!


Hopefully I'll get some great inspiration for your next challenge, Beks, and be able to write up a decent oneshot really quickly. I'd like to be able to do this some time. It's sad how life is making everyone so crazy busy.

Sounds relatively easy. I think I'll have to wait until December, though. National Novel Writing Month begins tomorrow, and I'm participating in that. So, unfortunately my fanfic and this challenge will have to go on the back burner for a while.
