Hmmm. This is random.

If the JN gang were Disney characters, who would they be?

I'm pretty sure Cindy would be Megara. I mean, a sarcastic, witty, love-denying hussy forced to derail the guy she loves? Shyah. Even their hairstyles (kinda) match. Not to mention Cindy would look FAB in that Grecian dress. She could also be Tinkerbell, because they look a lot alike.

I think Carl would be Quasimodo. Sorry Carl fans, but the lovable ugly image does sort of fit. Pour the wine, and CUT THE CHEESE. Perhaps he could also pull of Mr. Smee from Peter Pan...LOL

Libby's harder. I could kinda see her as Belle in some ways (the down-to-earth aspect) but her lively side also reminds me of Ariel (plus Libby's not into books the way Belle is). She definitely has Jasmine's fashion sense though. :P
Then again, Belle looks a lot like Betty Quinlan...I can see the parallels. They're both very sweet, and the story has to do with magic, so...ya. I can't decide on this one.

I guess Jimmy's parallel would be Milo James Thatch, cause they're both so nerdy...although I can see a little of Herc's naivete and destructive potential in Jimmy too.

Sheen is...oh lawds. I wanna say Tarzan, but then I'll just laugh. Ha. Haha. Hahahahahahahaha but face it Sheen's a freakin monkey.

I can kinda see April the Gorlock as Mulan, since they're both involved in war. Something about April's spirit reminds me of Mulan, even if they have very different personalities.

That's all I got. Any ideas from you guys?

Hmmm...a very interesting proposition.

Megara is a pretty good choice for Cindy, but she is also very much like Mulan. Megara is not exactly someone who knows her way in a fight, or really tries to know her way in a fight. Mulan is much more of a go-getter. She definitely is not afraid of taking on challenges and she has a lot of spunk to her.

But then there is Belle. Gosh darnit, Cindy is hard to place! Belle is a dreamer and is not afraid to speak her mind. She is smart and independent. I guess in the end Belle still might be too caring to be Cindy.

I'm going to go with Mulan. The more I think about it, the better I like that choice. She even gets that defiant eye thing down just like Cindy.

Libby...hmm. Ariel? She sort of has that trust and faith in her, and she definitely rocks out the music. Yeah, I like Ariel for Libby.

Now onto the boys...

I agree with Carl being Quasimodo. Sigh, poor guy. But it really fits well. He's overshadowed by others, he is a like, an AMAZING best friend...and he has odd obsessions. Haha. He also has a lot of trouble standing up to people, but he can do it when he feels his friends need him.

Sheen...oh Sheen. Haha. Monkey boy.
Hrm, Tarzan reminds me of Sheen when he first gets introduced to people, but I don't think Sheen can actually feel the range of emotions Tarzan goes through. Haha.

Hmm...Sheen should be...Peter Pan, maybe? I doubt Sheen will ever grow up. Or perhaps Aladdin. Like, the misunderstood kid who hangs out with monkeys and tries to be a ladies man. B)

MAN Sheen is difficult to decide!

Then again, Sheen and Carl could be Timon and Pumbaa. Or Pain and Panic.

Jimmy does remind me a bit of Milo. They're both complete geeks. Haha.

That's all I've got for now...I'll come back later and maybe continue this with the villains...

Hmm...Sheen should be...Peter Pan, maybe? I doubt Sheen will ever grow up. Or perhaps Aladdin. Like, the misunderstood kid who hangs out with monkeys and tries to be a ladies man. B)

That's totally who I thought of for Sheen: Peter Pan. Yeah, he's crazy like that. He's totally the type who'd run off and try to play hero...and refuse to grow up. Although imagining Sheen in tights is... *giggle* You're right, though; Aladdin's a pretty good match too...

And I'm going with Belle for Libby. Sure, Libby's not into books, but substitute Libby's love of music for Belle's love of books and they really are pretty similar. Both are sweet and thoughtful and prepared to do anything for someone they love. But they both have a bit of attitude too. They won't back down on their beliefs or hesitate to speak their minds.

Wow, great thoughts guys!

And yeah, the page stretches for me too... not just on this thread, but on others too... Is someone's sig really wide or something?

I kinda like Mater (Disney/Pixar's "Cars") for Sheen... He's hyperactive, a good friend, talks alot... the only problem is that Mater might be too redneck-ey for Sheen, plus he lacks an obsession for anything...

This isn't Disney, but Carl reminds me of the Giraffe in "Madagascar" with his health problems. xD

I'm thinking Pocahontas for Libby... She's down to earth, would prefer there be peace, likes music, adventure, and has good fashion sense and is a dark hair and skin beauty.

Again, this isn't Disney, but Cindy reminds me of Helga in "Hey Arnold"... xD Otherwise, I'm reminded of Miss Piggy (A Jim Henson character, but Disney does own at least part of Miss Piggy's character) because she likes to show off, likes to act lady like, but can kick butt and sometimes abuses those she cares about and she has blond hair. Only Cindy doesn't refer to herself as 'moi'.

Time for dinner, I'll brainstorm on other characters... and brainstorm especially hard on DISNEY characters only... xD

HMMMM.

Cindy reminds me of Meg, I agree. Also Aurora a bit, cause of obvious reasons, but also because they both have free spirits.

MILO THATCH! Ahhhh, I love Milo! That's like, my favorite movie ever. Anyway, Jimmy reminds me of Milo, yeah. But he reminds me of Robin Hood, using his wit to get him out of situations.

Libby's hard. But she's almost like Snow White. Down to earth, likes to sing. Has the power to use little men to her advantage...

Carl is definitely Quasi. No question about it.

Sheen's like Phoebus. He takes order from higher powers, but is quite the lady killer when he wants to be. Plus they both crack jokes a lot.

@Mara - Yah! Jimmy reminds me of Milo Thatch! Goshdarnit! I luff those two XD
Jimmy is almost like Cody from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody, because of his nerdi- I mean educationally gifted-ness

@noukina_v018 [sorry, I didn't catch your name  ] - Goofy is purrfect for Hugh! :kawaii:

That is all.

Hi there, Noemi! You have a pretty name. :kawaii:
And yeah, I think Sheen is too unique. Hmm..Esteban is Mexican, right? And so is Sheen. Sooo....

Okay, this is not entirely Disney, but somehow Jimmy and Cindy remind me of Martin Mystery and Diana.

They seem to have an almost identical fashion sense. And the hairstyle too.

Plus, Martin has a kewl watch just like Jimmy's XD

Another someone who reminds me of Jim is Phineas. Heck, they're both inventors and both are a genius. :o Shocking, right?

Thx 4 the compliment. lolz somehow Esteban's reminds me a bit of Sheen hahaha.
what a pity i can't compare Arwin with Jimmy coz the only similar thing is their blasting inventions time to time.... :onfire:
and Cindy with Maddie..only on the smart part and sarcasm made along London's lack of intelligence...
Very shocking indeed...it's a small world after all :music: :music:

Carl would also maybe be a good Ron Stoppable, Libby would be like either Monique or Violet from The Incredibles since Violet has invisibility powers and forcefields.

ZOMG! I freaking love Quasimodo! He's my favorite Disney character EVER!

"If I was in their skin/I'd treasure every instant out there." Whoever does Quasi's singing voice is AMAZING.

Tarzan. roflmao.

I have no idea who Milo or Megara are, though, so, no comment.

I think Cindy is very much like Jasmine. Both are unsatisfied with what life handed them. Royalty, in Jasmine's case, being second-best to a genius, in Cindy's. Both of them rebel.

Libby might be like Esmeralda. Both are kind, yet hard-headed and determined at the same time.

Nick is totally Gaston reincarnated. "Here in town there's only she/who is beautiful as me" "I'm not beautiful anymore! Oh wait, yeah I am!" See the similarities anyone?

I see Jimmy as being a combination of Aladdin and Simba. Like Simba, Jimmy can be a bit full of himself sometimes, but feels regret when he hurts someone or feels that something is unfair. Like Aladdin, Jimmy wants more out of life, and has a mischevious side (hacking into the local news? C'mon!).

Okay...

BUHWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Sheen in Peter Pan tights...can totally see that.
Cindy isMegara, through and through.
Jimmy...oh, geez, this is hard...probably is Milo.
Carl, unfortuantely, is doomed to be Quasimodo for life. I despair for you, Carl. You're too sweet to be confined to a bell tower
Libby is, or I should say, are the Muses from Hercules. Is everybody forgetting the song, "Won't Say I'm In Love"?!

Sorry. I'm very passionate 'bout that movie, Hercules. I love it.

Oh, a couple more suggestions.
Jimmy might be Woody from Toy Story. You know, how they both kind of take charge of the place and get everyone through whatever problem they're going through.
Cindy might be Jessie from Toy Story 2, although Cindy isn't that hyper when you meet her.
Carl can be Rex from Toy Story; they both freak out over random stuff.
Sheen is Bullseye the horse from Toy Story 2.
Libby...can't think of another one...

FYI I watched Toy Story so much when I was little, my parents had to go buy a replacement tape for it twice!

That was the theme song for the TV show, "Friends". I miss that show...
That was one that had a spin-off, based on the character Joey. (It was called "Joey"; ooh, what a shock ) That was a spin-off that didn't go too well...lasted 'bout six months, then went ka-put.
