[Mara=^.^=]

The other day I happened to catch "The World is Not Enough" on Spike TV. And since I love Bond movies, I was more than happy to watch.

And I was all like: BOND. JAMES BOND.

Which naturally became NEUTRON. JAMES NEUTRON.

So I thought to myself: haha, I love how they make fun of the whole "James Bond" genre in Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion. Hmm...I wonder what it would be like if Jimmy were a secret agent? He's got the gadgets, the suits, the power-crazed foes...

And then I thought: GREAT SCOTT....BOND GIRLS.

JAMES ISAAC NEUTRON, PIMP EXTRAORDINAIRE. The ultimate multishipping experience.

Cause I mean, come on...Jimmy's got so many chicks it's not even funny.


-So, we've got Betty, Cindy, April, and Libby...I was gonna include Sally but changed my mind. I tried to make Betty look like she's adoring/admiring him, since if Betty ever fell for Jimmy I'm sure she'd be the supportive, obliging type.
-I drew April putting a finger to her lips, going "shh", as if she's keeping a secret. I figured this was appropriate since April HAS been known to sneak around after dark, come up behind Jimmy, and whisper: "be quiet or we both die".
-I tried to make Cindy look vaguely evil and conniving, cause I'm sure that if she were in a Bond movie she'd be the evil assassin sent to kill Bond who ends up falling for him instead.
-I made Libby winking and wearing her Beach Party Mummy outfit, since this was the episode with the famed "Desert Love Curse", the source of J/L goodness.

I'm really, really happy with the way this came out. Everyone looks exactly how I wanted them to...well, except Jimmy. I just could NOT get his hair right. It's so hard to translate the cool-whip-flip into realistic/anime style. But he just wouldn't be Jimmy without somekind of ridiculous coiffure...so I did my best to make his hair stick up. Unfortunately, he now looks remarkably like Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. Oh well, can't win 'em all I suppose...


Anyway, this is dedicated to all you J/B, J/C, J/A, and J/L shippers out there, and is my especial gift to the JN fanart community, since I spent like, yanno....EIGHT hours on it.

P.S. My favorite part of this picture would have to be Libby's lips, as weird as that sounds. They are fabulous.

Wo-ow, like I always was saying this is one of your best pictures, it's just impossible to pick the best one or to even compare, they are all good in their own way.
Everybody here looks gorgeous. It's pretty cool to see all the girls on one picture drawn by Mara. I like everything and the quality is just outstanding. Every girl looks great, I like how Cindy is touching his head, how admiringly Betty is looking at him, Libby's playful wink and mysterious expression on April's face. Jimmy looks very cool and pleased with this company. Don't be upset about his hair, it's OK and I like his costume, that tie is exactly what he needed.
You know your style is getting better with every drawing and it already is amazing!

LOL, Jimmy's REVELING in the attention. I was so happy with how his expression came out. He is so darn pleased with himself. :P

Personally I'm happiest with how Cindy's coloring came out, but I like Betty's design best. I've never drawn her where she actually LOOKS like how she does on the show, so this was fun.

I personally love April's and Cindy's eyes. April's look so mysterious...they almost glow. And Cindy's stare is pretty intense.

It looks even better in color! ...Not any less OMGWAT, but that has nothing to do with talent. :D

To begin with, I love the way you colored the eyes. They're so bright and full of life! After that, I love the skin and the lips. I particularly like the way you did Cindy and Betty's arms. And then I like Libby's clothes. They just own. Heck, I love the whole thing; those were just the details that caught my attention first. Oh, and did I mention the expressions? They're marvelous and so wonderfully true to each character while still looking like the kinds you might find on Bondgirls--and Bond himself. C:
