Finally, I can post this. If you want to read it yourself, I found the book at the magazine section in a store.*squee*It's all from Aang's POV!!This is straight out of the book!

Cave of Two Lovers

Aang's POV
After traveling for miles, Appa landed so we could rest for a bit. Katara was showing me a new Waterbending move called the Octopus. Things were going great until she put her arms around me to correct my form and I forgot everything I was doing and lost myself in her eyes. I can't help it---they're just so pretty!

(later in the cave with the nomads, here's where they get separated)
...Appa kicked the cave walls and rocks came tumbling down from the ceiling. I managed to get Sokka and the nomads out of the way in time, but then the rest of the ceiling came crashing down, and I had to grab Katara and fly us to the other side of the cave. After the crash, I found myself on the ground next to Katara with my arm around her.
What are the odds? I wish I could stay like this forever..... :wub:

(In the tomb)
"I have a crazy idea," Katara said suddenly.
"What?" I hope it's a good one, because this place is giving me the creeps!
"Never mind, it's too crazy," she said , turning away.
It's pretty dark in here, but is Katara blushing? It sure looks like it.
"Katara, what is it?"
"Well, the curse says that we'll be trapped in here forever unless we trust in love. And it says 'Love is brightest in the dark' and it has a picture of them kissing,"
"Where are you going with this?"
"Well, what if we kissed?"
Uh...did I just hear her right? Katara and me, kiss? Katara wants to kiss me? Almost since the moment I met her I've dreamed of kissing her. Did she really say that?
"Us, kissing?" I need to be sure I actually heard her right.
" See, that was a crazy idea," she said quickly.
This is gioing to be the best day of my life!!! I can't move, breathe, or smile, but I've never been more excited in my life I think I may pass out..... :lol:
"Us. Kissing." Okay, stop saying that and just say yes before she changes her-
"Us kissing!" Katara repeated, laughing loudly. "What was I thinking? Can you imaging that!?"
It's too late. I blew it! Standing here in my daze I let the moment pass and now she's taking the crazy wonderful suggestion back...like she wishes she never said it. Now I have to act that way too. I mean, I can't let her know that I think it's the greatest idea she ever had. Just smile, and try to sound like you agree with her.
"Oh yeah, heh-heh, I definitely wouldn't want to kiss you!" Oh,no! I wish I could take that back. What a dumb thing to say! And I don't even mean it!!
"Oh, well I didn't realize it was such a horrible opiton. Sorry I suggested it." Katara said harshly.
Great, now she's mad. Why do I say such dumb things! I have to make this right.
"No, no, I mean if it's a choice between kissing you and dying-" Oh boy, that didn't help. I just can't get it right when it comes to Katara. OKay, let's try this again.
"What? I'm saying I'd rather kiss you than die. That's a compliment."
"Well, I'm not sure which I'd rather do!"
And now she's storming out of the tomb. Great. Instead of fixing things, I just keep making them worse. Why am I so afraid to let Katara know how I feel about her? It doesn't matter now. I really blew it.
"What is wrong with me?"

Lake Laogai

We haed out of the house, more determined than ever. Then-I couldn't believe it- Katara ran into Jet, this rebel we had met earlier in our travels. What's he doing in Ba Sing Se? Now that I think back on it, Katara kind of had a crush on Jet-until he put a whole innocent village in danger trying to fight the Fire Nation! That's when Katara decided that she wanted nothing to do with him. I don't mind that part at all. :lol:

The Earth King

(Everyone and the king are on the Outer Wall showing the drill. Then Long Feng comes)
"Really?" said Katara. "Then perhaps you could explain why there's a Fire Nation insignia on your 'construction project'."
I love Katara! <3 I mean, whoa, I can't believe I admitted that, even if it's just in my own head. But I really do. I mean, she's so clever!
(Back in the palace)Then Sokka pointed out that one of us had to stay there with the king and help him plan the invasion. He volunteered, but sweet, selfless Katara said that she would stay so Sokka could go see their father.
She's the absolute best. Always putting others' needs before hers. I'm totally and completely crazy about her! There's no other way to put it. Now I just really need to tell her how I feel.
We all prepared to go our separate ways, then met up to say good-bye. I needed a moment alone with Katara, so I pulled her away from the group.
"Katara, I need to tell you something. I've been wanting to say it for a long time." Oh boy, I'm so nervous I can hardly breathe. Here we go...
"What is it, Aang?" she asked.
I've rehearsed this speech a thousand times in my head, but now that the moment is here to actually say it aloud, I don't even know where to begin. I looked up into Katara's beautiful eyes and I just blurted out-
"Katara,I-"
"All right!" Sokka shouted, punching me playfully in the stomach."Who's ready to get going on our little men-only man trip!"
I can't believe this! Can't he see we're in the middle of something?! Now the moment's gone, shattered, lost. Thanks a lot, Sokka. I was so close....

The Headband

(Cut to Katara, sitting alone at a table with her head in her hand. She looks up. Aang is standing in front of her, hand outstretched.)

Katara: I don't know, Aang. These shoes aren't really right for dancing, and I'm not sure that I know how to...
Aang: (masterfully) Take my hand.
Katara: Okay.

(He leads her out to the center of the floor and whispers in her ear. They stretch out their arms and touch wrists, circling around the axis thus formed.)

Katara: Aang, everyone's watching.
Aang: Don't worry about them. It's just you and me right now.

(She looks into his eyes, blushing, and then confident.)

Katara: Well, that was some dance party, Aang.

(She leans over and kisses him on the cheek. He blushes.

Aang: Katara, I...
Katara: (at same time) Aang, I...
Aang: You go first.
Katara: (smiling) We've been through so many things together. And I've seen you grow up so much. You're not that little goofy kid I met in the iceberg anymore. (Aang blushes and smiles.) I guess what I'm trying to say is...I'm really proud of you.
Aang: (his smile fading) Everything is going to be different after today, isn't it?
Katara: Yes...it is.
Aang: What if.... What if I don't come back?
Katara: Aang, don't say that. Of course you'll--
(Aang suddenly kisses her, and after taking a moment to realize what is happening, Katara closes her eyes and kisses him back. Aang pulls away from her and flies off on his glider. Katara blankly stares after him, blushing.)
