But I'm a bit confused on the pairings involved. I just need to know which ones might have J/C or none at all.
I'll easily read any fic based on Sheen/Libby & Carl/Elke of course, but I'm touchy when it comes to J/C fics. If by some off-chance I do read a J/C fic, it'd need to be one of those "their season 1 relationship, with only a few hints here & there" kinda thing. THAT kinda J/C fic I'm open to, jst not something like LSTN or Stranded.. ;)
All ideas sound great though, regardless of whatever pairings they are, & I say you should write each of these, regardless of what romance is involed! ^_^

All We Have To Fear
That's one of my favorite stories of his, too. Give it a read.
BTW, Forever In A Day sounds a lot like the movie Groundhog's Day.

Ya, I wasn't planning on writing "Fear" anyway. I figured someone, somewhere must have already written a fanfic to that effect.I agree that Meet The Parents sounds like the best idea. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT do Fear, though. It's been done, by one of my fav fanfic authors, GaDS2000 (Gary D. Snyder).
All We Have To Fear
That's one of my favorite stories of his, too. Give it a read.
BTW, Forever In A Day sounds a lot like the movie Groundhog's Day.
Lots of people also voiced the concern that "Forever in a Day" seemed a lot like the movie "Groundhog Day". Can someone please explain to me what happens in this movie? It seems like everyone has seen it except me.

Bill Murray plays a cynical, total jerk weatherman for a local TV station. On Groundhog's day, he and a video crew are sent to do a remote in Punxsutawney, PA to cover the official Groundhog's Day festivites. Long story short, he's forced to relive Groundhog's Day in Punxsutawney over and over and over again, apparently thousands of times. He has some good days, some bad days. His continuous loop finally ends when he gets the girl (Andie McDowell). It's never said what causes the whole thing, but I guess it's implied that it's some kind of divine intervention. I highly recommend it even though I'm not really a Bill Murray fan. It's hilariously funny, very romantic and surprisingly touching and philosophical.Lots of people also voiced the concern that "Forever in a Day" seemed a lot like the movie "Groundhog Day". Yeah, Gary Snyder is good. Real good! "It's An Alternate Life" is another real good story of his. I haven't really gotten into his current one, "The Network Strikes Back". What with it being 81,000+ words and 30 chapters and counting, I'll wait until I have a spare week to devote to reading it. :) But enough of that. Let's not hijack Mara's thread.omg that fic is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Mara: Doing a story along the lines of "Groundhog's Day" would be acceptable, IMO. Doing a JN fanfic that derivative of a movie is one thing. Doing a JN fanfic that's derivative of another JN fanfic is another. :) That's why I cautioned you about "Fear".

Note to self: scrap fanfic idea.

All these fanfic ideas sound awesome. It would be so cool if you did Meet the Parents and Message in a bottle in the future. Those look really intresting and funny!Over the years I've written a buttload of JN fanfics (including Hypno-Cindy, Me Myself and Two of You, and most recently, The Other Side of Tomorrow), but for various reasons, I never got around to writing about 75% of the fics I've actually thought up. Since I'm nearing the end of The Other Side of Tomorrow, I'm thinking ahead to what I want my next fanfic to be about. Tell me if you like any of these ideas (some are a bit odd and some are really vague, I admit) or if you have a request/suggestion for a fic I should write.
