Now, he's not my all-time fave, nuh-uh, that spot easily belongs to Jimmy.
But, I still like him, & I do enjoy his character. Not just because of Nick/Cindy, but for the character altogether. :)
Just post whatever you want to about him, but I'd like it to beall positive thoughts here guys, if you don't mind.
Btw, I noticed in "Attack of the Twonkies", Nick's a pretty good singer, but I can't figure out whether he was singing in German or Italian (sp?). Anybody know for sure which one? It might lead to what heritage Nick has.
& for some reason, I find his "screams like a girl" hilarious, dunno why, but it's funny!

*At the Candy Bar*
Carl:There goes Nick doing a dangerous trick on his skateboard.
*Nick falls and breaks his leg*
Nick:Why does this keep happening to me!!!!!!!!!!
Libby:You're in Sheen.
He's also a good actor, in Macbeth. I forgot when he sings though.

yeha hes a good actor and singer. but have you guys realized that in the beginning, hes like the ultimate cool guy. but now hes not so cool (well, he thinks he is) and hes broken his leg like 17 times (they said it in LSTN but i forgot).his cool status has definately faded a bit. :onfire:Nick isn't one of my favorite charactres, but I still like him. I love it when he always breaks his leg. It's hilarious! One of my favorite scenes with him in it, would be:
*At the Candy Bar*
Carl:There goes Nick doing a dangerous trick on his skateboard.

If I remember correctly, it's German... although singing in another language doesn't necessarily mean it's your heritage. I do a lot of classical singing, and most of it's in German, Italian, or French, and you sing it regardless of whether it's your heritage or not. I've sung in French quite a bit, and I'm not the least bit French. :)Btw, I noticed in "Attack of the Twonkies", Nick's a pretty good singer, but I can't figure out whether he was singing in German or Italian (sp?). Anybody know for sure which one? It might lead to what heritage Nick has.
I started watching the series before seeing the movie, but I finally saw the movie recently, and Nick surprised me. I wish he had gotten some development in the series, but he's barely there at all, even though he was originally supposed to be part of the entire "gang."

But still, thanks for the info!
About Nick as a character: As it stands now, I DON'T like Nick, OR the Nick/Cindy pairing.
But I WOULD like both if they were more developed throughout the series & not just tossed away after the first season & deemed "useless as ideas".
Btw, I would like to make note that in my revamption of Nick's character in my N/C series prologue, he WILL get more character development than originally.
It sometimes amazes me how much development one could give such a character like Nick by re-writing the entire show, movie included, through his point of view. :)
Nick/Cindy will NOT get ANY changes as they are in the show with being a potential couple, as I want the EXACT SAME EVENTS shown on-screen, just through Nick's eyes.
However, in the first actual fic AFTER the series, yes, they WILL recieve major development.
But throughout the N/C prologue, while the events during Nick's & Cindy's interactions with each other will not change, Nick's potential thoughts & feelings about her WILL over the course of the fic.
That's just my idea of it.
But AS IT STANDS NOW in the show, only girl I could actually see Nick permantely with is Brittnay, given their personalities.

But if J/B gets together, and N/Brit(tany) happens, WHO will Cindyend up with? Will she live a lonely life? Or will she find love?About his heritage: I know, but sometimes the writers like making hints on characters' heritage, it just depends on their mood at the time.
But still, thanks for the info!

I mean, AS IT STANDS ON THE SHOW RIGHT NOW I'd only pair him up with Brittnay.
But in the prologue, I plan to develop his character greatly, so that he may be on Cindy's level AS A CHARACTER, in order to pair them up.
In the first actual fic that comes after the series based on N/C, Nick does realize he has always loved Cindy, regardless of any of his actions befrehand. (i.e, not really noticing her in the movie or season 1) & tries to win her back in succesion.
But note that J/B WILL get together first, giving Cindy time to "re-do" her feelings for Jimmy, one would say. After realizing he would never urn to her for love, Cindy might take a few chapters, but she comes to accept this, & realize a frienship, (but not love life) with Jimmy will prove more fruitful than continuing a rivalry with him, though they'll still occasionally have a few rounds of competition, just not nearly as much as season 1, & she won't pick on him at all anymore, she'll just keep the competitions going, but not the rivalry outside of school time.
Then, after she comes to terms with this, the relationship with Nick truely begins. It sort of just comes along smoothley, as I'll be trying to show how both pairings, Jimmy/Betty & Nick/Cindy, can work out harmoniously with no troubles ahead.
Though I suppose the fics could use a major villain & a plot besides getting them together, I'll just have to work on it awhile.

Hmm, I'd be okay with ( KIND of ) Jimmy and Betty marrying and J/C just friends..but my friends think that Betty's better off with Butch. :blink:No, no. I have no intentions of Nick/Brittnay happening in my fanfic.

First of all, Betty is by NO means a bully, I mean, if she was, then Jimmy would have NO reason to like her, would he? Her beauty would be masked by her constant bullying if she was such a person, but she's NOT. In fact, JUST THE OPPOSITE.
Unless your referring to the ONE line that was used in Vanishing Act.
God, what people don't make a character out to be just because of ONE simple line. (not referring to anyone in particular, just in general )
But still, I respect ANYone's choices, so if that's what they want to believe, then its fine with me. I wasn't offended or anything. ;)
But still, like I said, preferred couples in the JN show itself:
Jimmy/Betty
Nick/Briittnay
Romantic clone/Cindy (our Jimmy could've kept the statues for some reason & decided to revive the romantic one for her)
Sheen/Libby
Carl/Elke
Hugh/Judy (well, who else? Carl/Judy?)
But in fanfictions for JN:
Jimmy/Betty
Nick/Cindy
Sheen/Libby
Carl/Elke
Hugh/Judy

Nick is one of my least favorite characters. I am sooo glad he was pretty much written out of the series by season 2 and replaced with Libby. He has a couple of funny moments (like when he waves his hair in "Battle of the Bands" and he says "Like me?" in "Professor Calamitous") but I can't take him seriously as a character, he's just so stupid and superficial.
When they brought him back in season 3 for him to break his leg a million times that was kinda funny too
