i thought that my brother was getting better, but today he had two seisures. then the doctors had to operate on his brain to reduce the swelling. he may not make it. ;( i'm crying right now

Have this space exploration course: Love the content, prof is understanding, but I get the Braille pictures four weeks after actual lecture; exam cramming and I hate it! No reason. Wish I had Jimmy's brain and experience (smile)

won the Beacon of Hope award for my school. (One kid from the whole school is picked because they followed virtues, is a great student overall, etc.) I get to have breakfast with my principal Monday morning when it'll be officially awarded to me. Pretty pumped, because these sorts of things look great for acceptances to places! :)

Best Astro lab EVER!! While everybody else went outside and looked with lame optical telescopes, my lab partner and I sat at a computer and played with radio pulsars...hearing their periods, determining the effect of frequency, and finding their distances with equations. What's 20 parsecs? My TA and partner are awesome!
