Cindy's first bio: Living life as second best isn't easy. Just ask Cindy Vortex, resident girl-genius. Until the day our favorite boy genius walked through the doors of Lindbergh Elementary, Cindy could answer ever question, win every award, ace every test - without any competition. Perhaps her sudden movement into second place in the brain department is the reason for her sour attitude! Cindy's quick witted remarks and harsh tongue have earned her a place as a semi-villain on the show... But she does have a softer side, and although she refuses to let it shine through (except sometimes to her best friend Libby Folfax), it seems that there may be a spark of affection for her so called "arch nemesis", Jimmy Neutron.

Her smarts and wit only carry her so far, and underneath her tough exterior, Cindy is a troubled, complicated person. The show rarely depicts her parents as loving; in fact, the show rarely depicts them at all, which gives them a sort of mysterious, withdrawn air that I think makes us ponder whether Cindy's family life is as perfect as she'd like it to be. The few glimpses we get of ger mother reveal her to be a haughty, critical woman who constantly places pressure on Cindy to succeed.

Cindy has surprisingly close relationships with a few characters on the show, these being Libby, her best friend, and Jimmy. Libby has always been Cindy's advisor, to some extent. She's the calm, cool, collected conscience that's always in the background, holding Cindy back from going over the edge at some times, and pushing her to be more open in others.

Cindy's relationship with Jimmy, however, is constantly changing. In the movie, "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius", Cindy and Jimmy are really just kids. They are competing against each other in a "ewww, cooties" sort of way. There are a few hints of a slight attraction to each other, but nothing much. In Season 1, Cindy and Jimmy's relationship is very similar to how it was in the movie. There are a few more J/C hints, (J/C refers to "Jimmy and Cindy", it will be used her commonly on the site) but still, nothing extreme. Season 2 gives way to the whole "girls side, boys side, you cross the line and it's a mandatory two weeks of pointing and scared looks," and gives Cindy and Jimmy's relationship room to grow. More and more hints of a mutual crush begin to shine through, and for the first time, viewers everyone began to realize that the infamous J/C love/hate relationship might actually blossom into something big. I suppose the love/hate should be explained as well. Cindy, being a very prideful girl, has a lot of trouble dealing with the fact that she might actually have feelings for the boy that took away her status as the school smarty. So, instead of admitting that she has a crush, she hides it by fighting constantly with him.

Season three, nicknamed "The Relationship Season" really focuses on Jimmy and Cindy's now undeniable romantic relationship. Episodes like Stranded, King of Mars, Lady Sings the News, and Win, Lose and Kaboom (a TV movie) are brimming with J/C moments that bring squeals of excitement from the many dedicated J/C fans.

Cindy is a headstrong, smart, tae-kwon-do and river stomping (it's a dance, haha) expert, with a heart of gold. Her constantly changing personality has won her hundreds of thousands of fans across the world, and we will miss seeing her grow after the show's cancellation.

Cindy is sometimes surprised by Jimmy's sudden outbursts of affection... Here we see her as she dresses now, in a striped green halter, brown khakis, and her hair pulledback in a ponytail. In the major motion picture, " Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius", Cindy dresses in a loose pink button-up shirt and black jeans. Her hair is styled into pigtails.

Useful (or useless) Info

Age: 11
Grade: 5th
Hair color: Blonde
Eye color: Green
Birthday: June 5th
Blood Type: A positive (you'd be surprised what you can find on the internet!)
Phone Number: 555-1246 (this is another one of those "useless" pieces of info)
Hobbies: Tae Kwon Do, River dancing, overachieving in school, fighting with Jimmy, obsessing over Jimmy, hanging out with Libby, shopping, dressing up, taking piano lessons, teaching her dog Humphrey new tricks, getting into ridiculous adventures with the boys, and maintaining an outward appearance of hate towards Jimmy.

Other Points of interest:

-Cindy was originally going to be named Sally Proton
-Cindy is voiced by Carolyn Lawrence, who also plays Sandy Cheeks on Spongebob
-It is unknown what the good future holds for Cindy, but in the bad future she's married to Jimmy and spends all her time catering to her mother's feet

Cindy's Second Bio: Cynthia "Cindy" Aurora Vortex (voiced by Carolyn Lawrence) is a fictional character on the TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. As confirmed by one of the show's directors, Keith Alcorn, this witty, sharp-tongued, tae-kwon-do expert, river-stomping dancer is James Isaac ("Jimmy") Neutron's aggressive arch rival and secret crush. She keeps her feelings for Jimmy in check and in secret from everyone, even her best friend, Libby Folfax. Even she has to admit these growing feelings to herself.

Cindy has, indeed, shown obvious but reluctant friendship with "Nerd-tron", but seeks more. However, in the first season she seems to have had a crush on Nick Dean. But, after the first season, her crush for Nick ended. Nicknamed "The Relationship Season," most of these episodes reveal Jimmy and Cindy's blossoming relationship, including kind of admitting their true feelings while stranded in an uncharted island, in the thirty minute episode, Stranded. During the hour long special The League of Villains, Cindy makes several attempts to confess her love to Jimmy; only to be interrupted (by someone or something) or inadvertently be ignored by Jimmy, at every attempt. Season three is rich with what Jimmy and Cindy fans refer to as J/C moments.

Cindy was born on the fifth of June, 1992, and moved to Retroville in her early elementary years. She found herself the most respected and most intelligent person in class, a position she very much enjoyed. Her superiority was marred when a certain young genius with an IQ of 214 came along. James Isaac "Jimmy" Neutron, who lived across the street from her, eventually took Cindy's place as the smartest person in class. This enraged her very much, and has since then been trying to overthrow Jimmy from his status as smartest. She does this by teasing him and his friends, Carl and Sheen, mercilessly, playing pranks on him, nit-picking at his every mistake, helped by best friend Libby. But this can be very difficult, especially when she has a crush on Jimmy, her target. Cindy also knows when things are going too far. There have been times when she admits that Jimmy can do some cool things and have cool adventures. During season three, as she starts to come to terms with her feelings for Jimmy, she mellows out; slowly dropping their rivalry, picking on Jimmy and his friends less and less, and by making several attempts to get Jimmy to notice her.

In the crossover with The Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Timmy Power Hour, Cindy develops a small crush on Timmy Turner who everyone else thinks is Jimmy with a smaller head (In the first power hour, In the second, after they find out his real name, they refer to him as "Small-Headed Jimmy") In the second crossover special, Jimmy starts to get jealous. However her feelings for Timmy, while more open, definitely aren't as strong as her love for Jimmy. In the third crossover, Jimmy and Timmy both ignored her.

[edit]
Trivia
Cindy – unlike Jimmy – has a real dog named Humphrey.
In the episode I Dream of Jimmy (a spoof of I Dream of Jeannie) while being trapped in Carl's fantasy land mind, Jimmy kisses Cindy, but only to wake up Carl. Cindy comes over furious to Neutron's house to give him a right cross and proclaims "Not even in His dreams, Neutron". This shows that she somehow found out.
Jimmy and Cindy's relationship seems to have grown tremendously over a short period of time. From the time she encouraged him on Yolkus in the film, it seems to have steadily evolved. At first it was barely noticeable, but soon they are dancing, flirting, holding hands, playing footsie, and of course, kissing.
Cindy was originally going to be named Sally Proton.
In the episode Trading Faces (A spoof of Trading Places) Jimmy's mind-reading invention causes Jimmy and Cindy to switch bodies. When the process is reversed, Cindy speaks of one them thinking about the two of them walking in the park and holding hands, but Jimmy denies being the originator of that fantasy.
Carolyn Lawrence, the voice actor who voices Cindy, also voices Sandy Cheeks on the TV show SpongeBob SquarePants. Both Cindy and Sandy practice martial arts, but Cindy practices tai chi chuan while Sandy practices karate.

Hope this helps! ^_^

Well, I can't write out a full bio because I'd be repeating myself consistantly, but I CAN give out plenty of info for Betty. (I've watched the episodes with her involved like a hawk, not kidding!)

Notable interests:

Favors the "Twist" song -Party At Neutron's

Is in the school choir - Attack of the Twonkies

Very interested in magic - Vanishing Act

May or may not have a return crush on Jimmy Neutron - Most episodes she appears in

Very briefly showed SLIGHT (please leave caps!) affection for Nick Dean for 5 minutes during Out, Darn Spotlight, but never again.

The writers focused on Betty as Jimmy's crush more than April the Gorlock, or Sally the rodeo girl, but ultimately had him love Cindy Vortex.

Useful or Useless info:

Age: 11
Grade: 5th
Hair color: Black
Eye color: Brown
Birthday: Unknown
Hobbies: Singing, magic, (or may just enjoy it) dancing, possibly acting, possibly liking Jimmy in return, USED to like Nick Dean.

If you could please write a better one than this, I'd really appreciate it! :)

Also feel free to use ANY of the JxB screenshots I own. Found in screenshots/screencaps topic. :)

First of all, THANKS for making this topic kprrs3000. I LOVE you forever LOL. But guys...could you try writing bios that haven't already been done? I've already got Jimmy's, Cindy's, Sheen's, Libby's, and Carl's. I need character profiles for the villains and minor characters. Thanks!

P.S. Thanks NekoGirl for agreeing to do Nick and Betty's bios. Just email them to me when you're done :bff:

OK Slackerz,
I'd LOVE someone to write a bio. I'll make it easy for you. Would someone care to write a character profile for...let's see...Britney? *.* It shouldn't so hard. Come on, let's see some volunteers! **breaks out the pom-poms** o:)
